Some people with a lot of large luggage might struggle in the restricted space of the room. We travel light so were fine.

Very quiet in spite of being on the airport site. Fantastic soundproofing. Comfortable beds and good bathroom. Decent breakfast, helpful staff.

There wasn’t a hairdryer in the room but I think it may be possible to request one at the reception desk. There isn’t a restaurant for full meals.

The hotel was an easy walk from the station and an easy walk to the terminal the following morning (about 15 minutes to Terminal 1). The check-in staff were friendly. The room had no frills but had everything needed for an overnight stay. It was clean and comfortable. The blind blacked out the light effectively, The air conditioning kept the room at a pleasant temperature. There was no airport noise despite being so close by. There is a snack machine providing sandwiches etc. Tea and coffee can be brought from a servery, located beside some tables and chairs. Breakfast is available from 5.00am but as I was able to order a ‘grab and go bag’, which I collected when checking out. I’d be happy to stay here again if I needed an overnight stay at the airport.

Walked there from the station - a bit of a weird route dodgy through roundabouts and past the arse end of the airport - even with the skylink it was disjointed. Felt like it was a private room with hostel/ trendy prison vibes. Tiny room - felt overpriced. Double bed against a wall - great for a single person but not ideal for a couple. Weird wood/concrete effect plastic panelling in room - why fake two contradictory things? Tiny shelves didn’t work as bed side tables (luckily an upside down bin sufficed.) the giant bright orange triangles/ arrows on the wall didn’t create the calming sleep vibe I’d have gone for if I was designing an airport hotel room. And why jet lagged, exhausted people need to be further disorientated by the bike racks on the ceiling I don’t know. Staff were lovely, hotel clean, comfortable, and the soap smelt nice. (The room still smelled of new flooring.) Quiet room. I booked in advance and paid £15 more than if I’d just showed up. Single use cups and teaspoon not ideal.

Clean, friendly, comfortable, soundproofed bedroom, small but more than adequate for a one night stay to catch a flight the next day.

Closeness to terminal 2, clean and a budget price. There is a restaurant in the Sister Hotel next door that has a good choice of food and reasonably priced.

The room was very small and very basic. But the bathroom is relatively big for the size of the room.

Very close to the airport. Good if you’re flying from terminal 2. Longer walk (15-20 mins) if you're flying from terminal 1 or 3. But easy walk using sky line (covered). Good breakfast. Staff are friendly, they helped us with up to 1 hour free parking to allow us to drop our luggage in the room and then return the car to the car rental parking.

I was put on the ground floor, which turned out to be not all that quiet and relaxing. I've stayed in this hotel a few times before, but never on the ground floor so didn't know to ask for a different one - now I know!

Location next to T2 is always gonna be great

Called at Holiday Inn to have a meal with the voucher we had received at reception. We were told we had to Wait 1 hour for a table. We decided to not to use the hotel because we thought it could take ages to get a table then ages to order Food and probably take ages for Food to arrive. Instead We ordered two meals from Ibis. My wife had to Wait 1 hour for lasagne. I had to Wait 40 minutes for chicken curry. The Food was actually good and tasty.it was a pity we had to Wait so long. We were anxious to get to bed because of early flight. There was a problem with our glasses of Wine. It was assumed we wanted a large glass each. Instead we only wanted medium glasses. I asked for a refund. The member of staff found it difficult to do this and had to ask for help. Meanwhile the queue for Food was Getting longer. In the end I felt I was shortchanged as rhe refund was for only £4 and I think it should have been £6 at least. I paid £39 for the Food and drinks. An expensive evening with Miixed results. Not a good start to our holiday

Left early so unable to have breakfast. Beds comfy Hotel served purpose to be able to Stay at the AirPort to catch an early flight. Very convenient location, close to terminal 2 and train station

It was a shame there were no hand towels in the room. We had a very early flight and only time for a quick wash before leaving

Everything from walking into the hotel to walking out. The kettle, tea bags, and coffee in the room were so welcomed, so much easier than having to go downstairs to make a hot drink. This was my second stay and won't be my last.

The buffet breakfast was a poor showing... And the coffee machine was out of order, with the only offering being some hot water and a packet of freeze dried instant.. yuk.. There's no excuse not to have a functioning coffee machine in a breakfast hall. There was a few token jars of cereal, with a selection of none dairy milk, some cut meats and cheeses, bread and croissants.... to be fair, it's not the worst offering I've seen from an IBIS Budget, you have to go to France for that experience.

I've stayed in IBIS Budget before, so wasn't expecting too much, but for 100€ and 4 minute walk into T2 departures it seemed worth it. I was pleasantly surprised.... it was clean, comfy bed and pillows. This hotel is recently renovated or new-ish (I'm writing this in May 2024). Actually, the pillows weren't too far off Bonvoy quality. I booked a single room, which was small - imagine a single bed with about 1 meter of walk way space.. there was small table, flat screen TV and coffee maker. I have a fold out suitcase, which I could only fold out in the 'hallway'... actually, folded-out, the suitcase fit exactly into the space. The bathroom was relatively large in comparison, with a decent shower and supplied shower gel. I would book a one-night stay again.
