In our room the paint was peeling off the walls and the disabled alarm next to our room was going off all night and no one turned it off. I was also upset about no bacon for breakfast and the lack of choice for eggs

Location is OK, but access to the hotel is terrible (I.e. cars cannot get to the front door. Taxis have to drop you off around the side of the hotel and collect in a similar place). Small rooms mean that the Bed is only accessible from side, very inconvenient. TV placement is terrible too.

Room was clean with decent facilities. Shower was very good. General atmosphere was nice in the hotel and the bar was good.

The "reception" area is a laptop on what is essentially a bookcase, and this was quite confusing when I arrived and couldn't see any members of staff as they were busy elsewhere.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the hotel! It was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and I was able to get a very nice piece of carrot cake from the bar area downstairs at 11pm. I would absolutely stay there again.

Lack of nearby parking.

The room was warm, clean and quiet if a little on the small side. The lack of nearby parking facilities was not very good but the staff were very helpful in telling us where to park and explaining the discount system. The food was very good and the sitting/bar area very comfortable but the best thing of all were the staff. They were extremely friendly and helpful at all times and made our stay so much more enjoyable! Thank you to them!

The position of the double bed against the wall made it difficult to get in and out of bed No shower gel in the bottle in shower - had to get out of shower to keep getting gel from by the sink

The front staff acted very odd. When we asked whether we could leave our bags first before checking in, they told us that if we leave a good review on TripAdvisor when we could check in early instead. There wasn't any explanation as to why we could do this so it just seemed like we were being used to boost their performance review...

Although we used two Satnav, car and Google maps, we struggled to find the actual hotel, even calling the hotel the directions were unclear! Hotel sign needs to be more clear from the road or a sign at the rear of building would help

Once we got there and parked the car up at the recommended car park we were fine! Although the bar has limited stock options, it was a nice place to wind down end of the day

It's not the hotels fault, but parking is about a ten minute walk from the hotel. The fire alarm went off on the night we were staying. The green light on the ceiling is annoying as it lights the room up, great as a night light, though. One member of staff on the morning for breakfast seemed to be very frazzled

I liked the room, no frills but still clean, modern and had tea coffee in room. The bed was comfortable. I loved the long window in the room. The shower was good and clean. The lobby was very welcoming, and although we only had breakfast there, it seemed to have a good feel and prices reasonable. Breakfast was basic but good for the price. Sausage, scrambled eggs,hard-boiled eggs, beans, toast, pastries ,cereals, and hams and cheeses. The hotel is dog friendly, which was a big advantage for us, and the staff were lovely with them.
