Location, location, location! Great location for accessing the EDI airport link bus, Lothian buses & the tram line. Good breakfast with a variety of choices. Food in the bar (fish & chips and burger) were good - with large portions

There was a lot of loud construction work going on that we were not warned about prior to stay. Not a huge deal, but it was quite loud and disruptive for a while in the evening after checking in. The room had no Kleenexes, and I understand they want to be “environmentally friendly” but tissues are kind of essential, toilet paper is not a suitable alternative. The pillows were pretty flat and hard and there was just a thin sparse duvet as a cover, so definitely not a comfortable bed.

Great location and beautiful inside, artwork and wall murals and decor throughout the hotel and room were modern and very unique. The staff were friendly and helpful, and provided us with all the information we needed upon checking in, regarding breakfast, checkout times, accessing internet, etc. Room was very clean and pleasant. Continental breakfast was perfect, great selection available, all fresh and delicious, and a kettle and selection of teas/coffee was provided in the room.

The old rooms that are not refurbished are far from what you would expect. Worn out and dusty. Cleanliness could be done better: there are a lot of hidden dusty spots in the room that would need a thorough cleaning. Prices are high...but considering Edinburgh city center...you have to accept it as default.

We had 2 rooms: the first one was an old one that didn't meet our expectations. The staff was great and supportive and helped us to change it with a complete refurbished one that made our 2nd night much more enjoyable. Overall, the hotel is good, perfectly located in Edinburgh center, with good refurbished rooms on the upper floor, and good breakfast options. Hotel staff deserves to be mentioned due to their support and customer focused attitude.

Apparently there was no bacon at the breakfast, for me not an issue, but for my partner it was a bummer.

Able to drop off the bagage early in the morning. Very comfortable bed with a firm mattrass. If you like watching tv, then you are in luck, the room has a big tv.

Such a central location. Breakfast was well laid out. Everything was nearby and a nice choice with the continental breakfast.

Queen room very small .Limited space to move around and limited storage .Also a note re cost when I booked it was at a rate in Euro but when I went to pay on arrival as recommended when booking the cost in euro had increased .It should be made clear at time of booking that when guests pay in euro the rate of exchange at date of payment comes in to play .

The room was small and too hot even after adjusting the thermostat. Opening the window helped but then you heard a lot of alley noise.

The locations was wonderful for quickly getting to The Royal Mile and other awesome things to see in Edinburgh. The staff rocked. They were so helpful. It was clean.

Very confortable room , recently refurbished. Breakfast with many choices and of a good quality. Staff from the reception, breakfast room and room cleaning very responsive to the customers needs. We asked at the reception desk for an additional duvet and we got it immediately. The reception staff answered to all our questions regarding the important touristic sights to visit and how yo reach them. The hotel is located in a central quiet area, very close to many tourist attractions.
