Alot of building problems eg, leaking shower tray (made carpet in next door room very wet), wall plugs loose, other things not working. Kitchen utilities and crockery, very basic could do with a few more things like a toaster, more plates etc

Lovely view, quiet rural setting. Spacious rooms

The master bedroom has somebody’s socks and underwear still in the top draw, I did question my wife to see if she’d snuck someone in during the night but she’s adamant it wasn’t her and i believe her, unless you can prove me wrong. You should get the cleaners to clear this out as anyone less understanding than myself could have filed for a divorce or at least have grounds to!! The blinds next to the en-suite don’t work as they have no turning rod to close them. The tv in the far bedroom next to the master has no remote, the handle on the right side window is totally broke. The blinds in this room don't close as their broken also but they do have a turning rod, the bed sheet is stained and the pillows are really flat as well as the pull out draws next to the bed not smelling too fresh, none of the beds are really describable as comfy. The cupboard in the bathroom has a broken handle, the bath side panels aren't even on properly we did put them back on as good as we could and the base of the shower hasn't been finished and to top that off the rainfall shower head is more like a waterfall as most of the water comes out of the right side due to that also being broke which also causes the floor to be soaking wet and needs a full drying afterwards, also the toilet wobbles when you get off it and if the bath is emptying and you flush the toilet the shower base becomes flooded and full of dirt as the drainage is not too good. The couch has a couple of rips in it and smells of dog and also has 2 big stains on it, the blanket on the couch also smells of dog and has holes In it, the couch is very uncomfortable, the tv in the living room you can't even watch normal tv as it's not tuned in nor does it have an ariel and there’s 1 remote has no batteries, and to top it all of the light is way to low.

The pluses for the property are it's secluded and It does look beautiful from the outside and although it’s not immaculate it’s in good condition on the inside. We love the bifold doors which give all the natural light you need in the living room and kitchen, and the entrance hall is also nice and bright. We love the sound of the rain in here, we love the room layout and size's, the simplicity and the fact it's all on one level and we love the horses, sheep and the peace, tranquility & the cleaner air. But I must add even after all of the below (In the what we didn’t like about the property post) I would stay here again as it has brought me and my family away from our home comforts and made sure that we do interact with each other and have lots of fun doing the basic things that aren't computerised or internet based like quality based simple card games which bring hours of fun and laughter, communication and competitiveness while also teaching us all patients and to observe. We are enough for each other when everything is no longer available we can all still have plenty of fun, my wife and children don't know how much they amaze me so thank you for our stay and we will be back but for a negotiated price, p.s we bought some scissors I was going to leave them but my wife decided they where too good to leave, you nearly had them on me!! Oh and our son had a nose bleed so we washed the bedding and it’s on the radiator behind the kitchen door nice and clean not too sure if it’s dry as the heating is limited times!! Once again thank you. Yours sincerely Christopher Charman

Clean modern building with plenty of space inside and out, in a great location with lovely views

Not really a negative and didn't spoil our visit but I think because we were the first visitors this year, there were some very minor things missing which we would have expected to be there e.g. we could only find one tea towel, there were no condiments, no dust pan and brush. But as I said, this didn't ruin our stay and I would still highly recommend it.

Very easy to find. In a good location, 10 minutes drive from Uttoxeter. Nice grounds with outdoor furniture and lovely views. Modern, well maintained building with good sized rooms. Large kitchen area with big fridge, freezer and plenty of cooking appliances.

All faults listed by last person reviewing not sorted yet, garden now half horse paddock with only two strands of rope seperating so children and dogs must be kept from going through, needs an operation manual for devices, building not fully finished, if all work sorted it would be a 9 or 10.

    Built to a high standard
