Rooms are a bit tired

Would have liked a room at the front for a change we have been 3 times already

The pillows and bed. Didn't sleep at all. The bed was very hard and the pillows were like paper. There were no spare ones in the wardrobe as described and when I calmed down stairs twice just before midnight no answer hence no sleep. Please get new pillow they are really needed

The hotel is beautiful. The staff were very helpful and it had a lovely bar with entertainment. Breakfast was also very good with a good choice

Rooms very dated, dirty windows which we actually couldn't physically see out of🙃 awful beds. Terrible banging from pipes in bathroom. Considering how much I paid for 2 nights I would not return unless there is a big refurbishment on the rooms !!!

Rooms are very tired looking. Carpet stained, double room a bit dark and small, dodgy wooden blind fit for the bin on bathroom window. Shower was dated. On the plus side room was cleaned daily and plenty of towels, bed comfortable. Expensive for the standard of room.

Breakfast was good, staff attentitive in the dining room and hotel was clean. Entertainment on in bar. Have stayed several times now due to the location.

Paid for de-luxe room with sea view and was grossly underwhelmed with what we got. Room itself was large enough but we have stayed in better "standard rooms", nothing seemed to be "de-luxe". Sea view was through one window .measuring approx. 3ft wide, hardly panoramic. We felt as though we had been short changed there. Having said all that, we did , overall, enjoy our stay and might even return one day, but would think twice about all the expensive "De-luxe" extras.

Hotel is well positioned with plenty of (expensive) parking on site. Tram stop right outside hotel, walkable into town centre and attractions even though I am a little bit disabled at the moment. Buffet breakfast was wonderful with plenty of choice of hot or cold. Dinner was excellent but menu was a little bit limited. Hotel is what I would describe as being old fashioned looking but excellent in appearance and atmosphere (confused?). Room was clean and comfortable but see below for other comments.

Window in bedroom was very draughty

The hotel was excellent, had a wonderful sea view. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was very good.

The fact that I found a bed bug in my bed. Staffs were very prompt to investigate and changed my room.

Corridors upstairs were badly in need of upgrading as was our room. Decor and furniture needed updated. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Again windows filthy.

Public Rooms appeared clean and nicely decorated with wonderful original features. Windows however were filthy. Staff were all lovely and breakfast was great.

Front entrance does not display sign to show disable entrance,that at the side or I couldn't see it.

Room large , good chairs and nice and warm, easy to get around hotel , love the pictures on previous guests. Food was very good . Will return . Was also offered an adapted room when I said was using a wheel chair

Dripping shower in room 321 was a bit annoying.

Room was comfortable but a bit small. Breakfasts were excellent. First class. Sarah(?) On reception Friday evening was superb in getting us a table for 9 people at short notice. All staff were pleasant.

The standard rooms are very dated, but clean and warm. If you want a nice modern room you have to pay quite a bit more.

This was our 3rd visit to this hotel, each time we were attending a function there. All of the staff we met were friendly and welcoming. The hotel has a good amount of parking...which is a little expensive, but at least your vehicle is on-site and safe. All the food we had, including our meal at the function was to a good standard, breakfast was buffet style and offered plenty of choice.
