The bedrooms were soooo hot. We were there with a wedding party and everyone’s room was uncomfortably hot, even with air con. Decor is pretty dated and there are signs of wear and tear everywhere. Wood laminate had peeled off our bed, stains all over the carpet, paint peeled off ceiling etc.

There was a tear in one of the bath robes, and stain on the armchair in the room.

It was way too hot, and the aircon didn’t work properly. This was in spring so I can’t imagine the temperature in the summer. One room had a foul smell, like drains.

The location is great, the views from the rooms are incredible and the styling is good

bathroom was OK, you need to hold the removalabe shower head in your hand as when it's on the wall its in a fixed position shooting the water horizontal at you When you look closer the room could do with TLC

Room was lovely, good size. Bed was super comfy. View from room was good as so high up. Nice to have a fridge in the room too. Nice touch to have bath robes and slippers.

Expected more from the reputation The Cube has. Check in was laboured with only 2 staff Room was clean but very worn Bathroom was also very worn Kingsize bed was 2 singles pushed together with a topper on. You could feel they were singles and moved apart easily

Location good for Utilita Arena view over Birmingham was outstanding Breakfast in Marco Pierre White restaurant was very good quality

The extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work .The room did get a little hot at one point as the thermostat didn’t go below 18 . But none of which ruined our stay just minor faults

Stayed for our anniversary and we were given a free upgrade which was great . Views were amazing both in the room and at breakfast upstairs at marco piers .great location and not as busy as we expected .lifts were a little slow at busy times but that’s to be expected . Overall great experience.

You could tell the bed was worn out a little by the sides. Also the air conditioning buttons were a struggle to use.

A bit tired round the edges like the bathrooms etc. I didn’t feel like the standard justified the price in all honesty having stayed at a few locations across Birmingham.

Great location, lovely bar and vibe at the top. Inside of hotel very modern and comfortable had a nice feel. Staff also very friendly and helpful

The bed could have been more comfortable you could feel the springs in the mattress.

The room was lovely and clean and had a great view the facilites within the room were adequate and the hotel is in a great location. Parking was handy being at the mailbox and you get a discount through booking at the cube hotel which can be paid for in advance online.

Dated room and furniture. Horrific smelling and over strong air freshers used King size room was just two singles pushed together, so dropped in between. Breakfast was served using the worst cheapest sausages, thin tasteless black pudding, served only half a mushroom, no option for toast.

Check in and check out was professional and speedy. Room was very comfy, and the shower was excellent. Great power. Bathroom was well equipped. I did not have breakfast at the hotel so can't comment on it.
