Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomNothing all good
check in smoothly very organised, location great for the train station at Victoria right next door. the room was well planned out everything you could want and more tea coffee, kettle complimentary water, biscuits and iron and ironing board good use of space in the wardrobe for these hidden away. the beds were really comfortable with very light but warm duvets. the bathroom was large with a wet room and had a extending mirror for ladies to do their makeup . I also liked that the bathroom had low level lighting for night time then you did not need to put the main light on and disturb partner. The hotel room and corridors were very quite and very good double glazing as right in the centre but you could not hear any noise at all brill. We ate in the on sight restaurant and the food was very tasty and good portion and this made it value for money . the staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all excellent hotel would recommend to anyone if they can afford to stay there it is a little more pricey but worth it.

United KingdomNo complaints from us. We did end up staying up until the early hours of the morning as we attended a gig at the AO Arena, we didn't think of this when we ordered the breakfast with the room. It would have been great to have it delivered to the room (even if it was for a bit extra)
Really enjoyed our stay and the hotel was in a convenient location as it was by the AO Arena. The room was lovely, spacious and very clean. We had everything we needed and even had 2 bottles of complimentary water in the fridge. We had a good nights sleep and didn't hear a peep from anyone in the rooms nearby.

United KingdomYou may struggle if you have mobility issues as steps up to reception but there may be an alternative entry point?
We were going to see Take That and the venue changed to the AO Arena so perfect location. Fabulous Jane at reception allowed us to check in early and gave us late check out as we had booked afternoon tea the day after. Lovely clean twin room, travelling with my sister. Great large shower and lovely cosmetics in the bathroom. Breakfast was served to you which is a refreshing change and lots of choice and made to order. Great location for bars and restaurants. The lovely Leo looked after us at breakfast and two lovely young ladies in the coffee shop area when we had afternoon tea with a great gin cocktail. Thanks to all the staff all were very pleasant and looked after us.

United KingdomI booked two rooms (one for me and my partner and the other for my brother) as we were attending an event at the AO arena. Upon arrival the woman on reception wasn't very friendly and told us quite abruptly that we'd have to wait about an hour until our rooms were ready. Her attitude wasn't very welcoming and we felt like an inconvenience so we left and came back later. The upgraded room we got, I felt wasn't what I paid for really (even if it did have a bigger bed and was comfortable) as I wanted a higher up room the same as the other person in our group got as I paid for two king rooms on a higher floor for the views and so it would be quieter.
The rooms were comfortable and clean. The hotel is in an ideal location for the AO Arena and Victoria Station. The woman on reception when we came back after waiting an hour was very friendly and even upgraded one of the rooms. Also, the lady who checked us out the next day and sorted out our luggage was really nice and friendly.

United KingdomThe breakfast was alright. I've definitely had better, but there were plenty of options. Unfortunately the coffee machine was broken when we stayed.
Great location ,right next to Victoria station and Ao Arena. It was quiet, the room was comfortable and we had everything we needed. Lots of restaurants nearby and Arndale centre was a short walk.
