The shower cabin was borderline inaccessible for bigger people, I barely managed to squeeze in. The water temperature in the shower was hard to control, too - the tap didn’t seem to work properly and I almost burned myself. The bed was very low and hard to get out of. No table or chair in the room. Very strange lift that requires you to hold down a button for the entire ride.

Good location, 24 hour reception, friendly staff, bus stop right across the street, bed was comfy

You can hear everything that goes on in the rooms around and above you - singing, snoring, doors being banged. It's a bit run down but that's ok.

Staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was fine. If you just need a place to sleep without forking out a fortune it's exactly what it says on the tin, and it's fairly central. Bus to Angel station is straight opposite the hotel, but it's quicker to walk during rush hour.

OK for somewhere to lay your head. This is not somewhere to hang out. Purely ok for an overnight.

First option of room (208) was tiny and bathroom drain smelled vile. Sulpher/egg. Also the door in the corner for the exterior clock. Didn't feel safe. Aged building with structural issues, plenty of cracks, uneven floors and some repairs and maintenance needed.

Location was good for purpose and staff were friendly and happy to help. Had to change rooms and they were very happy to arrange this.

There was quite a bit of noise during the first night of our stay from the room above us.

Our room was basic twin room. there was a powerful shower and all required amenities were provided. The location was great for us within walking distance of the Emirates Stadium. The room was clean and ample towels were provided. the staff were very friendly.

Possibly a bit pricey for what it is, but I was booking London Saturday night at short notice.

The place is basic but fine, room was clean and warm, shower was hot and there was shampoo, check in was easy, front desk 24 hours, location good within walking distance of Angel - lots of good cafes, restaurants and pubs nearby.

really well positioned for my needs - open all of the time with freindly staff and everything you need. Simple, no frills and affordable. I felt safe. I have stayed here a few wimes and will do so again

The floor was tilted at an angle. Housekeeping staff walked in before 8 while I was in bed and were surprised I hadn't checked out - I was staying another night. The light fixture in the bathroom was hanging from the ceiling, and I'm not sure the manager understood my concern about it.

The bed was very comfortable, and there were tea making facilities.

I was shocked that I got checked into a family room with no running water on the tap or shower. the first morning experience was not fair to us. having said that, when I brought this matter to the attention of the receptionist, the room was swiftly changed to one with a bath, shower and hot running water all round. I was equally shocked to find dirty stained carpets in the common corridor areas of the hotel, despite the advancements in carpet cleaning shampoos and advancements in vacuum cleaning technologies. it's not acceptable ...at least for me.

the convenience of proximity to public transport. the bus stop right outside the hotel is a big plus. the lift to the 2nd and 3rd floor is a great help for luggage up and down from reception the 24 hour access is good, provides flexibility. the rooms were warm and that helped because the weather was wet and cold. it was nice to retire to a nice warm room.

The hallways were pretty marked up. It's not a case of being dirty, just old and well used. It could do with new carpets and a lick of paint.

The access to the hotel was pretty good. A bus stop opposite the hotel made transport easy to and fro the city center. It was about 30 minutes give or take. The staff were nice and friendly. The room was basic, but clean and tidy. There was soap and towels provided.
