The main section of the hotel did not have an accessibility lift for people with mobility issues. This made it difficult to get down to the bedrooms for elderly people in my party. The ramp outside down to the pool area would have been an alternative but people shouldn't have to go outside to take access to their rooms within the building (this is not up to British standard design regulations). The pool area could have been cleaner and I think was overdue a deep clean as grime etc had started forming around the base of the pool.

Restaurant, Bar Area, Rooms, Staff well all excellent. I cannot fault the main amenities and it was a lovely place to stay and set up camp for a weekend away in mull.

The hotel is very big and a bit unpersonal, so you won't find there a typical "atmosphere"

Comfortable and well located for a deep exploration of Mull island.

To get to our room we needed to go down 2 flights of stairs then up some more. It was a bit of a struggle with suitcases . We certainly got our steps in with this hotel.!

We loved sitting in the lounge in the comfortable chairs looking over the bay. We loved the foot path to the sea shore. A beautiful place , so peaceful.

The distance travelled from reception to our room which entailed four flights of stairs & more steps as you approached the room became difficult with a bad leg & heavy suitcase. Other acces points would have been better. The restaurant menu was disappointing

Located not far from the port in beautiful surroundings. Nice trails to walk. Furnished to a high standard.

The bathroom tap didn’t have very good pressure and the restaurant was slightly on the pricey side.

Very clean and a lovely large room, nice grounds and trails surrounding the hotel. Room came with lots of snacks and drink options.

Very limited menu in the Deck bar and either had to eat bending over coffee tables or in a souless bar area downstairs where we were practically eating in the dark on our last night despite asking for the lights to be put on!

Very central location for touring Mull. Comfortable beds

The only disappointment was the kitchen, prices were high for what was served at dinner (eat elsewhere!), Breakfast was OK, but again price-performance was rather questionable. Apart from that it was really good.

The location, the view, the friendliness of staff were all terrific. Its a great place to be based to explore Mull. The spa worked well and spa staff were really friendly. We used bikes to cycle about.

the windows are looking a bit tired and in need of sanding and repainting. the carpeted stairs down to the bedroom also look a bit worn. also i thought i was going to have a relaxing swim but didn't know ahead that the swimming pool is also used by the local community, so there was a bunch of kids having a lesson when i went, which is fine but i wish i had been aware of before heading down as i could have gone at a different time!

my room was big, the shower was great, they left snacks and coffee for me, breakfast was delicious as well as dinner. I also loved the view from my room directly overlooking the sea.

Our room never got cleaned the 2nd day, I had to ask at night if we could get fresh water as we drank the bottles previously. Beds were squeaky and uncomfortable

I guess American seniors are a bit soft. I found the bed much too hard despite inquiring ahead of time. I was told that they were medium firmness. I attempted to sleep on top of the duvet. There were a lot of stairs for a person recovering from a broken back and a visually impaired person. The hotel tried their best, but due to my late request, we had to deal with stairs. Not their fault.

Hotel and rooms were beautiful. Staff was wonderful. Restaurant was very good.

Super relaxed, room was very clean and comfortable, the food was exceptional. Very accommodating of our dog. The location was spot on as was a 2 min drive from the ferry. Would definitely recommend and stay next time we are visiting mull.

Rooms are often some distance from the lobby, so you will need to maneuver through staircases and fire doors. Accessibility could be an issue, so plan ahead if you need an accessible room. Rooms my have shower only, some have tub/shower combo, so ask for your preference. On site breakfast was good, however overpriced and understaffed. Staffing seemed to be an issue throughout for a 4 star property.

As expected this is a large hotel, so well equipped with common areas, bar, onsite restaurant and even a pool. Walking distance from the ferry terminal at Craignure on Mull. Connected to the main village of Craignure by a wooded waterside trail.
