    We liked it all.

This is a little gem of a place to stay, so peaceful with beautiful surroundings. The hut is equipped with everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back again for a weekend retreat.

We had a lovely weekend break at the hut, it had everything we needed. The fire was easy to use and made it very cosy in the rain. Was a great get away from the busy city!

    Nothing

Had a great stay. Instructions for property were good. Exactly like photos. Lovely and clean. Bed was super comfortable. The place has everything you'd want and more. Had a slight temperature issue with the shower, which got fixed first thing the next day!

Hut was lovely, could do with a few signs, one at top of the lane and one outside ,as in the dark you can't see it! Shower needs fixing to the wall better and shower head needs a clean. Instructions for the cooker and hob would also be very helpful. Would also be good to know what to do with the rubbish,

Lovely and quiet place great to relaxing, very warm even in the middle of Dec, will definitely be revisiting

As it was our first time visiting the directions weren't very clear how to find the hut. The sat nav kept taking us on a u turn. As wasn't sure exactly where it was located. Wasn't sure if we had to provide our own wood for the wood burner.

The accommodation accompanied the beautiful picturesque setting perfectly. The hut had everything we needed and more. We had champagne and flowers apon arrival as it was our wedding day! It was very much appreciated by us both.

I did look it upon Google maps before we went but it must have been moved to this location after the photo was taken. Surrounding walks would be great, it’s very beautiful countryside. The local pub round the corner is expensive but has great meals on weekends, and a cut-down menu during the week that is good but not as good as the weekend. It isn’t open every day so check before you go. Winchester is a short drive away, not really walkable unless you really like to walk. We tried the park-n-ride which was not the greatest, so we ended up paying for parking in the city centre and it was well worth it (carry cash change, the online system didn’t work for us). Do the cathedral belltower climb, it was squashy but really enjoyable. Minor things, and not really problems, just good to know: Oven is not intuitive, we had to look it up on the internet. Turn the device on by pressing and holding it the power button till it beeps. Then select the mode by turning the dial around and you’ll see display on the left showing different things – the one that looks like curtains is the microwave. Press the dial button again to select the mode. The power level will show on the numerical display so select what you want and press the dial again. Now choose the time and press the dial again to start. Obvious really. The bed can be awkward to get in and out – it necessarily placed across the hut so it’s surrounded on three sides, and the person on that side has to crawl across the other person to get out for any necessary visits during the night. But overall this is a great place to stay. The view was all I wanted and more, and it was so quiet and relaxing.

If you want the quintessential English country vibe, this is it. The view is really beautiful from this lovely shepherds hut (aka a portable cabin). Plenty of light (and view) comes in through the large picture window and smaller windows next to the bed and over the kitchen sink. If the weather is kind, you can use the small deck and fire pit out the front. The hut is definitely small but the windows and view make it seem larger. It’s clean, newly finished and well laid out - we managed to fit in two large suitcases and two small ones as well as ourselves without too much trouble. It has a couple of lounge chairs and a bench overlooking the little deck and the fields with bar stools. It’s cosy, warm, well-sealed and has a small wood-burning stove (we didn’t use it as it just wasn’t that cold). The kitchen area is quite large, full sized sink, good cupboard space, a coffee machine (Nespresso pod compatible), and a combo microwave oven which works well when you can work out how to use it. There was an initial bottle of milk supplied. Bathroom has a closeable door, with a loo, small sink, couple of shelves and a shower with glass door. Shower hot but not too strong. Towels provided. Queen bed, comfy and warm. We didn’t see our hosts at all as the key is in a key safe but they were contactable by phone if needed. Fine with that, the various people working on the farm said hi, and the goats were very sociable. Although it is obviously a working farm, the hut is very private and quiet, although the cows come and have a bit of a look when you first arrive. It’s on a very narrow single width lane so just take care coming in – there’s lots of lay-bys to dodge into though if someone is coming the other way. The road on the farm is well compacted so no worries with hire cars (I asked beforehand and was reassured). We drove down it, turned right at the llamas and found parking right in front of the hut, tucked in off the farm track.

Nothing to put- only small issue was the shower door not closing all the way, so water spilled out onto the floor, small towel took care of that, so no big issue

Everything we liked, location, rural, quiet, space, luxury. The best we have been to, a home away from home and compact. Wished we would have booked the whole week

it was not obvious from the adverts that the hut is very close to a farm/riding school and not as remote as indicated. we were woken by tractors driving very close to the hut and riding school mothers picking up and dropping off. a site map would be a good addition to the information on Booking.com

the property was as pictured and beautifully fitted out and comfortable.

Our only negative is that the main hut wasn't quite cleaned to the standard you would expect at a hotel, particularly the soft furnishings and floor. However, the bathroom and little kitchenette area were cleaned to standard, which is the main thing, so it wasn't a big deal. We also couldn't work the convector oven despite googling instructions and trying for some time. We cooked our food on the hob instead, which was easier to work.

Beautiful, warm hut in a gorgeous location. It looked quite tiny on the outside when we arrived, but inside it felt spacious and was beautifully done out. You can see cows and horses in the fields directly outside the windows and you're not overlooked by anyone. Local pub five minutes walk down the road and a 10 minute drive to Winchester. We did the trip on public transport from Winchester station, and used local taxis, which were reliable and reasonably priced. Very relaxing break in a green and peaceful environment.

Wood breakfast bar not secured to wall or upright. Oven very complicated with no instruction. Door look has seen better days. Rug material got everywhere, all stuck to clothing

Great wood burner and wood included in original price was very nice. Location and view were lovely. Comfortable bed and clean bedding. Outside fire pit was nice as we didn't see it in pictures. Close enough to towns/cities to get takeaways. Definitely would return.

The only small matter was that the front door was difficult to open and shut but that had no impact on the quality of the accommodation.

Accommodation was cosy and surprisingly warm! Everything you needed was available. Great that Netflix was available. Bed was super comfy! Would love to come back in warmer months to make use of the decking area and fire pit.

Only thing I would say was the shower for me just trickled out. It was very hot but very slow that's the only negative I can give this place.

Was a lovely little cabin. It is fantastic for a little romantic getaway. Had a log burner and a fire pit outside, we done a fire outside and got some marshmallows it was brilliant. It is a very small cabin, but we loved it because it was better then we expected. It was very clean inside also. I would definitely go again. 10 min drive to the town centre. 5 min walk to a pub as well. Was brilliant.

A cosy stay for a couples getaway, plenty of space to sit and relax. A great use of a small space with everything you need for comfort. The location is great, the town centre is only 15 minutes away by car. There is also a local pub just down the road which we walked to for a nice dinner too. The the hut is close to the stables so we got to see the horses through the window too.
