Duvet and bedding grubby so only stayed one night instead of the two I had paid for. We were told to park in numbered bays, however, there were no legible numbers as the markings had worn off

Close to the town centre and nicely situated although you cannot park near it.

Wrong ( non existent) building number on confirmation so very hard to find. £10 demanded for electricity which was not mentioned anywhere in emails and we were, fortunately, only there one night. Dirty towels and dirty sticky floors.. Filthy light switches and walls. Very very badly in need of decoration/refurbishment. Paint slapped amateurishly every where. Gaffer tape on all doorways. Wallpaper not aligned ( no effort to match sides) even on the doors. Bedding indescribable! It had saucepans and other cooking utensils and plates but no cups/mugs or cereal bowls. All in all grossly overpriced and we recommend it is avoided.

Location. Hot water. Comfy if not obviously clean bed. Kind guest from another chalet let us in as owner not well. Must have been well sterilised as it stank of bleach throughout.

It was dirty and cluutered. There was no sofa bed so our daughter had to sleep on the settee

I wasn't going to write a review. It was not great but we laughed it off and as the owner decided to write a review for me and give themselves 10/10 I feel I have to write my own review after contacting customer services. It was like someone had died there, removed the body but left all their belongings. Nearly every cupboard or draw had half used toiletries, unfolded bedding or other clutter in them. Bottled water were all opened. Dirty dressing gowns, coats, used slippers no sheets on the one bed, nowhere comfortable to sit. The welcome pack was just full of left over bits n bobs. There were food in the cupboards that no one is ever going to use. Wasn't cleanest of places either. I stripped the beds before I left hoping the next person would get clean bedding. Luckily I always take my own fleece blankets so we slept on them on top of the beds. I was late arriving so I was charged £25 for someone to meet me. Took me an hour to find the chalet as nothing was lit and signage was very poor as one met me at the gate even after phoning and texting the number given. Finally found it and the owners were sat in the chalet. They seemed very nice if I'm honest. Breakfast was OK. The bacon was still oinking but the eggs were nice. Dartmouth itself was fantastic. But I wouldn't recommend staying with little trains of Dartmouth

Great location for easy access to Dartmouth and surrounding areas. Beautiful nearby beaches.

I am unsure where I start here. We have stayed in countless properties throughout the years both on Booking.com and others and never really had any issues expect for the odd problems but this one was something else. I booked two nights here for 160£ which was the cheapest I could find, but still over priced in my opinion when booking It is what it is, so paid and booked. The day after I get a message from the properties owner saying there's a late fee if you come past 6pm. ( I finished work at 3pm so couldn't arrive until 7pm) And we have to pay 6 pounds for electric, neither of which is in the booking.com infomation when booking. So these are hidden charges, so I thought I'd phone the owner to enquire about this. The owner when I politely asked became very defensive and rude refusing to allow me to speak, saying "its for charity and that she's a volunteer" which I explained had nothing to do with me, I booked a place for 160 pounds, I should pay 160 pounds. I kept asking how much the late fee was but she wouldn't tell me. just kept ranting about how I was being "agreesive" I didn't raise my voice once, I just wanted her to answer my questions which she wouldn't do, she then accused me of being a family that might go there and disturb the neighbours and be agressive! I do not appreciate such accusations, myself and my family are very respectful and quiet people and never have issues with anyone. Eventually she did tell me what the fee was, and then hung up on me, which was very unprofessional, as was her text messages to me, using text with shortening of words making the messages difficult to understand. She said why do the fees matter its only another 16 pounds yet only moments before told me they are asking for extra money as people are struggling contradicting that first statement. Anyway after phoning booking.

The location was OK. And close to Dartmouth. Car parking. Jim who welcomed us was nice. Kettle looked new.

A disaster so we didn't stay the second night.

The chalet was full of the owner's possessions - clothes, toiletries, half eaten packet of biscuits which attracted ants. The bedroom heater was a fire hazard as the plug exploded when we switched it on. There were no emergency instructions or torch or candles. We heard from several sources that the owner owns several properties and there have been many complaints. The website said there was a swimming pool which was untrue. I think we should get our money back after a night in the dark and cold.

When we had a disaster with a heater that fused the electricity so we had no heat or light, the nearby residents lent us a torch and the caretaker was as helpful as he could be in the circumstances.

Not as described. Smelly, the most uncomfortable bed. Nowhere to sit. I cannot express enough how awful this place was. Described as 2 bed. The second bed was directly inside the front door. A welcome basket was offered. All we found were 2 mouldy sweets in the bedroom. Opened water bottles in the cupboard. Rusty handles on the kitchen cupboards

    Absolutely nothing

The place stank of mould, was dirty and cluttered with someone else's belongings and junk. The unit was described as 2 bed when we booked and turned out to be only 1 bed. It was so bad we only stayed 1 night.

Nothing. The place stank of mould, was full of junk furniture, dirty crockery, random bits of food and other people's clothing, toothbrush, used soap, etc. Everything was old and dirty and there was so much random bits of furniture/bric a brac you didn't have space to put your own belongings.
