No parking on premises. Dim bedside light or absence of bedside light.

Quirky. Thoughtfulness that had gone into making guest welcome and seeing to all foreseeable needs.

Hospitality, quirky, good breakfast, could have cooked evening meal

Quirky, interesting, lovely owner who couldn’t do enough for you. Clean and comfortable- very good backpackers accommodation. I would also say it would be good for those who are not backpackers

Pet friendly. The owner waited for our arrival even it was late at night (ferry arrived at 11pm) to make sure we had a good stay.

To short a stay to say

Your information said no breakfast. Not true, There was a kitchen upstairs well laid out by which we could prepare our own breakfasts. We only stayed one night, and we only arrived at midnight , and were on our way by 9.00am.However, the owner very kindly stayed up to meet us.

Creaky floorboards, kept my daughter awake!

Lovely, quirky place to stay in the middle of the wilds of Pembrokeshire. Steve is a diamond host, was very accommodating, and is happy to dry wet clothes! Outdoor pursuits are incredible in a stunning landscape.

We needed a stopover after a late night ferry landing from Ireland. We received very helpful and prompt communication from Steve at the hostel in advance, assuring us that he would wait up to see to our arrival. He even found a parking spot for our car plus bike carrier - better, more personal service than we've had in pricier hotels. Comfortable room, comfy bed, thoughtfully equipped (hair dryer, toiletries) and great original artwork on the walls throughout. We were delighted to find in the morning that not only were tea and coffee included, but also cereals including gluten free cornflakes. Nice little kitchen well equipped with pots, pans etc. Friendly place altogether, in a lovingly restored old school building with a stunning main room. Great value too. We will definitely recommend, and will be back.
