Nothing, we loved everything about the cottage and the location.

The cottage was very cosy and had been put together with care. You could tell that the owner of the cottage really had the customer in mind when decorating. The village is lovely too.

Cottage very cosy a lovely property in a lovely village. We didn't meet the Hosts in person, however, communication was great and instructions clear. We really enjoyed out stay and would recommend.

Lovely quiet village, very relaxing. Comfortable lounge area with cosy throws. Well stocked kitchen and basics eg milk bread & biscuits provided by host.

Location excellent. Rooms well laid out, clean and comfortable. Lovely little secret courtyard at the back which receives the sun all day which really sells the cottage as a lovely place to stay. Another great selling point is the pub which is very close by as the food is excellent.

The cottage was great. Lovely personal touches made it very welcoming. Fantastic location, great local pub and food. Loved the sheep that wander through the village. Brilliant night sky, could see the milky way. Already planning our next trip to Jasmine cottage.

I would suggest black out curtains or blinds for the bedrooms, my kids found it difficult getting to sleep in day light.

lovely cottage , very comfortable with everything you might need provided. location is very good to explore the region, picture perfect pretty all around . very good communication with owners who responded quickly and were very friendly to talk to.

The only issue we found was that the kettle didn't have a good pouring spout so boiling water went on the kitchen worktops rather than in the cups.

The cottage was lovely and well equipped with everything that we needed for our short break away.

-Not that it was a huge issue for us but it would be good if the water temperature could be regulated better, we found the hot got very hot and the cold got very cold which made it difficult to just use one tap, the shower also didn’t seem to stay at one constant temperature

Jasmine Cottage was in the heart of the village, parking was easy just across the road. Accommodation was cosy and all facilities clean. The welcome pack was much appreciated.

The kettle does leak quite badly It would have been good to have had a proper shower. These are just very minor points though and did not in any way spoil the holiday.

The 2 bedroomed cottage is situated in a small village in the countryside. The kitchen has all the equipment you need for a stay. Lounge was comfortable with plenty of seating. Wi fi available and good no phone signal at all on EE. The bedrooms were comfortable with soft beds and plenty of pillows etc. There are storage heaters which we needed to turn down as the cottage was very warm but would be lovely in winter, Small outdoor space to the front and rear. Very easy to find. Great location for exploring. We found Helmsley market by accident but it was very much worth the visit on market day. Whitby worth a visit and of course the Heartbeat country. All within easy reach from the cottage. We went for an evening meal at The Blacksmiths in the village. Very busy and the food was excellent.

The beds were very soft - although I realise this is a matter of personal preference and you can't please everyone who stays. They were otherwise comfortable enough once we got used to it!

Jasmine Cottage was very clean and well-decorated with lovely homely touches such as throws and dressing gowns. The welcome pack left for us on arrival was very thoughtful and appreciated. The location is wonderful - Lastingham is a beautiful village in a lovely area. It was very peaceful and we loved the way sheep just wandered down the streets! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cosy, welcoming cottage.
