The hotel is within one of the University of Sheffield's student halls, so it is quite noisy with drunk students, especially at the weekend. We had something banging on our door at 3 am in the morning. Rooms were probably designed for students, so the bed is a small double and there is not a lot of room. In particular, windows don't open too much and there isn't enough air circulating (and we went in mid-April, can't imagine summer with no air con)

The facilities for the hotel are great. As an ex student hall, it has a big community kitchen with cutlery, pots and pans to cook for yourself. It was a large lounge area downstairs which can be used if you need to work. They also have a ping-pong table, pool table and board games. The area is nice, close to the Botanical gardens, Endcliffe park and not too far from the city centre. Free breakfast included.

Small spot of dried blood on pillowcase. Otherwise room spotless.

Very easy and friendly check in. Clean room. Super communal spaces. Coffee had run out at morning breakfast so lady on reception made coffee from her machine. Very attractive grounds.

Didn't really find enough to gripe about. For me being solo was enough though. Just a little out of the way for outside amenities. Had a 15min walk to the shops.

Staff couldn't do enough for you. Very friendly with a smile always. Small but very clean value for the money.

The mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. Probably time for a refurb. as the room, corridors, carpet are looking a bit tired. The barrier button was for me difficult to reach because of the distance and angle, a bit of a stressful arrival because of it.

Good location for my requirements, clean and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was much appreciated.

Nothing negative to say. The bed is a 1.5 size or a small double, but we know to expect that.

We have stayed at the Jonas hotel a number of times over the last 3+ years. We love the simplicity and cleanliness of the hotel as well as the friendly and helpful staff. The table tennis and pool table are an added bonus.

Very limited parking so I left my car and got a taxi in fear of not getting parked again and having to find somewhere around the area on local roads.

Trendy set up and very un fussy which was perfect! The room was compact but had everything you need and the staff were all super friendly and helpful.

I wish the staff would have changed our bedding/towels more. We were told that the bedding would only be changed once a week, but we were hoping that our towels would have at least been changed once after being there for five days. We left signs on our door each day to allow the cleaners to come in, but no one came. We had to go downstairs in the night twice to ask for extra toilet roll ask we were only provided with one for the whole of our stay.

Friendly staff, great location. Complimentary pastry and drink for myself and my partner. A great social space downstairs and laundry facilities provided at a small charge. The most affordable hotel we've found in the area with the best reviews. There is not much to fault.

It was run down in some areas, the presentations of the rooms could be improved such as keeping paint work fresh and removing mould around bathroom. Just gave the rooms a bit of a neglected vibe when the communal rooms were up to a high standard.

Nice hotel with lots of amenities to use. The rooms were clean and tidy with enough space for a short stay. Enjoyable food and drink in the morning also.

The fact that there is kitchen and fridge where you can cook and store your own food is amazing and the place is so clean
