We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomIt’s as if this property hasn’t been viewed by the owner/agent for 20 years, lots of letters in the kitchen. Very tired, not great for value of money, and the photos are photoshopped… nothing to use to wash up… nothing to make you feel ‘welcome’ apart from towels (basics procedure)- no teas/coffees… a lot of safety issues like sockets… couldn’t get the hob to work so baked eggs in the oven in sticky old pans. Remote for tv not working so I have purchased for the flat. STINKS of smoke on communal area that felt this when I woke up in my chest after sleeping. I wouldn’t care about this as much if this proper wasn’t £332 for two nights- we won’t stay again.
Location good for the station. Straight forward, and great information with communication.

PolandStaying in this flat was the most horrible booking.com experience in my life. I usually don’t book such cheap accommodations, but the company I work for sent me on a business trip and set a limit of £130 per night, so I found myself in the glorious town of Hatfield, UK and in this apartment - as it was close to the office. My expectations were low. The instruction how to get keys is so complicated and detached from reality I had to read it several times and walk around the area. I bet the woman (no man could mess the directions up so much) who wrote it never saw the place herself - e.g. key safe is located on the right wall and not the left one, there are 4 key safes and the instruction doesn’t tell you which one is it etc. I’m wondering if the invention of a doorknob with a keypad will make it to the UK in XXI century, my guess is - no. You literally have those in the Amazon jungle, but not in Hatfield. The flat itself obviously has mold, but apart from that: intercom does not work, radiator was partially torn away from the wall, shower does not work, flush works so hard that pushing it could replace gym, toilet seat is displaced 15 cm from where it should be installed, all 3 wardrobe doors are broken, walls are dirty, floors are covered by multiple layers of carpets and I swear one more layer and the floor will turn into quicksands and start swallowing guests. We can also observe pinnacles of British technical thought e.g. cord hanging from the bathroom ceiling serving as a lightswitch. Feels like in Harry Potter movies, though. The flat was not cleaned properly, I found a tissue laying on the floor behind bedroom doors and an empty water bottle in the wardrobe. I also bet AC filters haven’t been replaced since the flat was renovated. I also got no invoice for my stay, although I asked several times. Every time someone books this flat, a new mold appears in someone’s bathroom in the UK. Please don’t do it.
I survived 4 nights there and left physically unharmed.
