Beautiful, well appointed apartment. Located across the road from the castle which was the focus of our stay. Daniel, the owner is extremely helpful and quickly ironed out the glitch in our stay - namely the people staying in the additional apartment had taken both sets of keys, despite very clear instructions to leave the other set in the key safe.

Awkward to get into the doors at the bottom given how they open. Can be hard to park close to the flat. A couple of the bulbs in the bedroom/sitting room were near the end of their life and flickered.

Excellent location and well equipped flat. Easy to access using the lockbox and quiet generally. Kitchen with oven and hob. Great TV.

Entering the property is a bit of a squeeze, especially with luggage - the main door open inwards onto a uPVC inner door which opens outwards immediately within; luckily we are not big people, but it's a bit of a squeeze even with a small bag! I hadn't appreciated that the flat shared a (creaky) main staircase with another flat, the internal entrance being directly opposite - not a major issue but I had wrongly assumed it was an individual location when booking. Just something to bear in mind. The apartment is very well equipped but a couple of things would have given it an extra 'star'... There was no plug for the kitchen sink nor a washing up bowl - so a bit of a fuss to wash up The shutters for the two main windows are good, but there are two high-up windows without - meaning it was very light in the room quite early (by 7am). The duvet was very lightweight and, although we found a spare sheet, an extra blanket would have been a nice touch. These are honestly minor - hopefully constructive - quibbles, and overall it was a very pleasant stay, albeit by necessity too short.

Very nice location in old part of village. This was a flying visit for us so would have liked to explore more. The apartment is well-equipped with a good kitchenette, and the main living / sleeping room is lovely, extremely spacious and airy with its high ceiling. Bathroom is well presented. Although the host was not present, the instructions and notes beforehand were very clear and helpful. The parking situation is not too much of a hassle despite being 2 hours max 8am-8pm every day (inc sunday) - we managed to park on Elizabeth Way very nearby.

There are uncovered sky light type windows in the room so as a light sleeper this meant I was woken up very early as soon as it became light.

Lovely stay, very clean and well equipped. Kids enjoyed watching a movie in their sofa bed. Easy self check in. Cozy and warm inside.

Storage. Only a very small wardrobe that was stuffed with a duvet for the spare sofa bed and a massive set of drawers that had all sorts of linen taking up almost every drawer.

Plenty of space and well equipped. Excellent location in the historic part of Kenilworth. Plenty of options for eating and drinking within walking distance.

The only negative was the sofa bed, but what can you expect 😅 did the job and was so tired anyway from all the exploring.

We had a truly special stay here, perfect for what we needed. Location couldn’t have been more convenient- parking everywhere, literally next door to a cafe and pub, castle across the street, excellent communication from host, had tea, coffee, and milk ready.

The entrance door is odd and difficult to get inside opening both doors. The parking is difficult, even using the option of parking 2h, its almost impossible to find parking available.

The flat is amazing. Great location, amazing coffee places just downstairs.

Stairs up to the apartment are quite steep so might not suit anyone with mobility problems.

This is a great little apartment with a fabulously comfortable double bed and a sofa bed. The kitchen and bathroom are modern and very clean. In fact I think the kitchen is the best equipped I've ever experienced in a rental property. Location is great too - right opposite Kenilworth castle and next to a couple of lovely cafes, restaurant and a pub!! The host also responded really quickly too to any queries I had prior to arrival. Overall a great stay.

Unfortunately the lights did not work in the hallways and it was dark when we arrived and had to climb steep steps in the dark with our luggage and I use a walking stick and could not see where I was going .Luckily my partner had a torch on his phone .

It was three of us so I was supposed to be sleeping on the sofa bed. When the sofa bed opens up/sets up at night, the people sleeping on the main bed would have it super difficult to go to the bathroom as the sofa is in a way. The sofa bed is also very uncomfortable and the soft part of it when opened up didnt look very pleasing to eyes. I slept on the floor instead. We picked up the keys easily but there were other people staying in the house as well, in different flats. When we got back around midnight, someone locked the little door latch safety button from inside. We kept banging the door, calling the two numbers given for long time and panicking we will need to sleep outside. After 30 minutes screaming at the street a man from top floor finally came down and unlocked it from inside. My parents are 62 so I really didnt want this stress for them. I also woke up with a massive spider on my shoulder at 5am, I caught it in a glass and let out but was worried to sleep after that. I know this is not the owners problem. Spiders can be anywhere, the place was otherwise spotless but the clutch button should be removed or disabled as it was quite a scary experience and wouldn't wish it to anyone. The two numbers texted/ called back after a longer while to check on us. So that is good.
