A ramp up to the front door would be helpful for older guests like ourselves and maybe a strapping young man to help with suitcases up the stairs!

We left too early for the breakfast, but they were kind enough to pack us sandwiches, fruit and yogurt to take. The hosts are phenomenal. So positive, energetic and kind. The room was beautiful and everything exceeded our expectations.

Our room would have been better on lower level as the stairs to the top level were too steep for us considering our age. That is about the only thing that wasn’t good for us!!

We had a ground floor room with a side view of the beautiful islands offshore and the ferries sailing by. It was particularly stunning at night as the sun went down. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom is large with a separate shower and an enormous bath. The tea, coffee, milk and toiletries were plentiful. The hotel is quiet and is in a terrific location. We chose not to have breakfast. Instead we were provided with a takeaway lunch consisting of sandwiches, juice, fresh fruit and a pastry. This is a wonderful place to stay.

Such a wonderful hotel, extremely friendly welcome, hosts lovely people. Given lots of information and COVID advice was well delivered, felt very safe staying at this hotel. Breakfast was fabulous and good choice, very warm and cosy, nothing too much trouble. Parking available on the premises which is a great benefit. We would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be back. Excellent location and views lovely, easy to get around

Fabulous service and we were found a room with a view as an upgrade, wonderful! Perfect location. Close enough to main part of town without being in the hustle and bustle. Breakfast was lovely, I had the scrambled egg and smoked salmon, beautiful.

Inevitably COVID arrangements gave a regimented atmosphere especially at breakfast but this is the downside of what was actually a good thing as I believe there was a high rate of COVID infection in the town at the time.

At time of COVID alerts property kept very safe standards and that left you feeling secure. Easy parking at premises and helpful hosts. Lovely position of property looking over Oban bay. Nice big room was easy to relax in and quiet for sleeping.
