Bedroom beside busy road was not ideal, but fairly quiet at night. Everything else at least "good".

Very pleasant and helpful owner. Good location for what we needed, and locally available parking. Continental Breakfast left out to serve ourselves, which was fine, and kitchen available gor guests' use.

It was a nice guest house in a great location . The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. We had full use of the kitchen and breakfast was all laid out ready for us in the morning which was nice.

The b&b is on a busy road but we did get used to the noise of the passing traffic. The location was perfect though for connections to Lyme Regis, donkey sanctuary, beer, seaton, sidmouth and colyton. Would stay again. Thank you

We didn’t bring a car, location was perfect for catching buses to all the places we wanted to go. Lovely river walk to Sidmouth. Really nice pubs and fish and chip shop nearby. The b&b owners were very kind and friendly, made us feel at home and welcome.

We did not eat at the B&B as I have lived in Sidmouth in my younger days and we had our breakfasts at the Courtyard café the B&B was clean my only concerns was the traffic noise, there is no parking but just 150 meters by the church there is ample parking

Found parking nearby quite easy. It’s at the top of a nice walk down to Sidmouth (1 3/4 miles) down by woods and river. Friendly owner when we saw her. Clean and shower had good flow.

When I arrived it was very dirty and my family would not let me stay there. It wasn’t in Sidmouth as expected. I had to make alternative arrangements at great cost and have made an official complaint direct to the owner.

The property was disgustingly dirty to the point my family refused to let me stay there and I had to find alternative accommodation. The property also wasn’t actually sidmouth and I would therefore like to request a full refund please

Not a dislike but note there is no parking for the property,only in the street opposite for anyone that has worries about this. It wasn’t a bother for us and definitely not a dislike against the owners just be mindful if this bothers you.

Not far from all beaches,quiet location but we didn’t stay in much anyway. Beds were comfortable,we all slept so well and had early nights! Loved it so much we stayed another night and had the most amazing weekend in the sun. We took my son with behavioural needs and he was golden I didn’t need to worry,he slept in the pull out bed they provided and slept all night (this is something he struggles with!) the garden was well kept for morning coffees outside and we didn’t see much of the hosts they weren’t intruding on our stay but when we did,polite and helpful and suggested places for the little one to have some fun. Variety is continental breakfast offered even soya milk in the fridge which was thoughtful for someone with allergies not that they knew this. Really grateful for letting us stay another night and allowing us to make more memories. We will be returning for sure,we as two adults in their 30’s cried coming home.

Bed was too soft for me.

Beware you might be told if travelling with a child that you should have brought your own bedding! This was even though we had selected the correct occupation for the room on booking.com of 2 adults and one child. Worse was the response form the management who blamed auto responses from booking.com for confirming our booking of one child and two adults. The response to provide the extra bedding we required was surly. They knew we had arrived with a 10 year old child and the person showing us our room promised to sort out the missing bedding but four hours later nothing had been done and when we approached the manager she initially still refused/was very off hand. On the plus side the breakfast was fine in the morning. Also the room itself was fine.

The room smelled very musty, used toiletries from previous guests left out to be reused, such as bar soap, toothpaste and mouthwash. Thick soap scum in sink, rusted waste bin, old worn down towels. The bedroom door lock is a fire hazard, we got locked in and couldn’t get out. Tried for several minutes. Almost started banging on the door. Unacceptable. We booked in for three nights, but left after the first.

location was good for our needs. the house was quiet.
