Amazing accommodation with the personal touch, amazing views and walks, in addition we paid extra for the hot tub, well worth the money! A very friendly owner nothing was too much trouble.

Beautifully done, cosy and very comfortable and the hot tub was better than expected. We had a totally relaxing stay. Alice is incredibly helpful and the perfect host.

Amazing location. Very comfortable and well equipped. Sitting in the hot tub and looking over the countryside was magical. Would go back in a flash! Alice is a wonderful host, really responsive and helpful but maintains privacy.

Everything about Kingfisher nook was impressive. Beautiful location, fantastic views, and our host Alice was lovely. Our stay was very relaxing and we hired the hot tub because it was a special occasion which was brilliant and fun. Definitely can't wait to go back.

Nothing not to like, was delightful.

We loved the little cottage at Kingfisher Nook. Set in Hoxne a lovely area, the cottage looks out onto the countryside. The cottage was beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Alice made us welcome with fresh scones, jam, strawberries and cream plus she even gave us some eggs from her chickens. We were very pleasantly surprised by this place and loved it,

Loved it, such a beautiful location and the property was really cosy! Alice had everything you could need with the added bonus of fresh eggs and delicious brownies! the log burner was so nice! would highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Having to leave!

We loved everything about the property. The views were amazing, it was very clean and like a home from home. Comfy bed, and well furnished throughout. Appreciated the thoughtful personal touches such as fresh eggs, flowers, and wonderful homemade brownies! Friendly, helpful hosts. Would definitely recommend.

Driving away!

We loved our stay so much. Alice and family were amazing. The location was perfect for a quiet week away from the hustle and bustle. Great local walks, pubs and supermarkets too. The Heritage walk and The Half Moon Inn were our faves. Alice goes above and beyond for you but in an unobtrusive way. The nook is so lovely and decorated beautifully. Sitting on the patio watching the many swallows was perfect. We can't wait to come back...

A little difficult to find from the road. The description of the beds provided was inaccurate

The host was expecting us and had provided afternoon tea on arrival, the family were very helpful and friendly. The accommodation was stylish and comfortable with lovely countryside views.

Beautiful home from home ,very clean,catered for all your needs. Gift of eggs and cake lovely touch. Scenery and outdoor space great and so peaceful. Indoors lovely too. Great for me to have all of that whilst working in the area.

The host had thought of everything. She had given a lot of attention to detail, which made it very special. It was a beautiful property with everything you could possibly need, and finished to a high standard. The views from the property were stunning.

It would have been better if the shower pressure was fixed prior to our visit, but we understand that this was not possible and we chose not to have this done during our stay at the property.

We liked the location, cleaniness and also the comforts the property provided.

There wasn’t anything not to like. only one slight niggle- Alice informed us the shower had lost some power but she had spoken to the plumber and ordered a part, so the shower was a bit more of a trickle than a power shower.

Beautifully and thoughtfully appointed throughout. Alice is a fantastic hostess, always around if needed. Flowers, milk and brownies on arrival, nespresso machine - underfloor heating. A very comfortable property.

Peaceful and perfect in every way

On a personal note, I regularly visit the bathroom in the middle of the night. I am spoilt at home for having an ensuite bathroom therefore I am not used to having to go downstairs and across the house to use the toilet at night.

We had a marvellous time at the cottage, glorious weather this half term! Alice, the host, was super attentive and hospitable. She baked us a lemon drizzle cake on arrival plus left milk and eggs for our breakfast. The house is very well decorated at high spect finishings. We had a blissful time using the garden in the evening, views are stunning!
