Furniture was a bit tired, especially the sofa. Door windows have a backing on them to stop people looking in but still felt a bit like people from the pub could have wanted by and peered in. Door lock didn't seem very secure.

Room was away from the pub noise for the most part. Nice shower.

no complaints just a minor comment was the guests were not left a bottle of water which many hotels do these days.

We received a very warm welcome from the staff at The Kings Arms. the rooms were at the back of the pub and were comfortable, clean, modern and had everything you needed. bar was great at closed at 1am right on the high street with plenty going on.

The only downside of this hotel is that there is no parking on site, however, the staff were happy to tell us where to park.

Bathroom not very inviting but clean and ok. Stairs steep but ok for me. Would have l7ked ahot chocolate Pricey wothout breakfast.

Online check in and out. Very friendly helpful staff. Ease of access for late night return. Quiet room for sleeping. Very comfy bed. Condiments..Tea and Coffee and water and biscuits.

A lovely pub right in the centre of town. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The stairwell needs a little TLC.

The shower pressure was low compared to modern hotels.

Location was excellent and the staff first class. The room was much bigger than expected and described and immaculate. It is a very old building with great character, we had a problem with the shower but this was solved immediately and nothing was too much trouble. We will be staying again.

Downside of the location is the noise. The pub’s open until 1am and the windows don’t look double glazed so a lot of noise gets in.

The access entrance to the room was tired and could do with painting. The stairway at the bottom a bit muddy. The room was spacious. There seemed to be a mark on the wall where the head board was so maybe needed replacing or painting. The bathroom was nicely tiled and a good fan and plenty of hot water. A shame the sink was cracked which it looks like the heavy glasses maybe caused this.

Good location as you can walk straight into Berkhamstead. Breakfasts were very good and a good choice of food. Staff really friendly. The room was very spacious and a nice bathroom.

Only thing was communication from the hotel leading up to the stay was a bit spammy and pushing to book dinner. Otherwise, everything was fine.

Room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was great. Really nice options and tasted great It's right in the centre of Berkhamsted so great for a get together.

The room we had was very dark. No mirror over the dressing table.

The staff were excellent could not fault them. Breakfast was excellent the best we have had in a long time .

Bed was very soft, like a campbed. Noisy outside the room due to it backing onto the pub outside seating area (noise to be expected).

Smart pub, with a nice restaurant and bar, friendly and attentive staff. Room was a good size, as was the bathroom. Plenty warm enough and supplied with coffee etc., with daily cleaning. Great location too in the town centre.
