Only the opportunity to have breakfast or even the provision of a continental breakfast in our room fridge. However we did know this would be the case on booking.

No breakfast available tho this would have been very welcome! We were very pleased with our rooms. Excellent that my grandsons had a separate room. Lovely rural spot within an interesting historical villlage.

Beautiful pub in Suffolk, we really liked the location and the room was great, and dog friendly too. Good for trips out to southwold, we will be coming back.

TV couldn't get a freeview signal. Slight confusion with check in info before arriving, but soon sorted out upon arrival.

Really lovely spacious room, clean and comfortable. Great shower. Super comfy bed. Good wifi. Fan and fridge in room with bottles of water, very much appreciated on a hot day. Staff friendly and helpful. Brilliant pub & beer garden - would like to stay again post-Covid, when pub is serving food.

Great little setup with the rooms being in an adjacent building to the pub. The room was lovely and very clean, everything in there we needed including a fridge and tea n coffee making facilities. A Co-op was 2 mins up the road if you need anything else. The Hotel pub serves pizzas with a lovely garden and the other village pub had an extensive range on their menu - loved our stay and we will be back!

Possibly needs slightly softer pillows - not so thick.

Large airy rooms; mini fridge with milk and two bottles of water; fan; very nice furniture. Lovely to have our own door leading into a private courtyard. Use of secluded garden at rear. 2 mins walk to the village pub which served good food.

Due to Covid restrictions no breakfast was available and food only serve at the weekends. A fish & chip van came on Monday. A few minor things wrong with our room which were going to be attended to.

The location was excellent, inland, but midway between Southwold and Aldeburgh, plus lots of lovely villages. Pub was quirky and letting rooms were in a separate building with it’s own entrance. Staff all very friendly and helpful. It is a community run pub.

plenty of tea & coffee in the room, but not enough milk for a 2 night stay. We were disappointed to find that the tray wasn't topped up with biscuits/water or the dirty cups/ glasses replaced each day. Didn't mind that the bed wasn't tidied as we are quite capable of doing that ourselves. we were slightly disappointed in the breakfast selection too, however what we had was very well cooked and nicely presented.

the room was spotlessly clean and well equipped.

We arrived to a grumpy reception from the landlady. It seemed when she was asked for say ketchup it was all a bit to much trouble. Although she was not rude just not hospitable as we would have liked. So much so having being asked if we would like to have dinner there we opted to go to the pub in the village. The room was small. We stayed 3 nights during that time the bed was not made nor the towels changed.

The breakfast was good. The village was good. Pretty location.

Breakfast good but ordered items omitted on one morning. Advertised as pet friendly but room too small to swing a cat let alone a dog. Policy not to make up / clean rooms when staying more than one night. Room and bathroom fittings generally poor quality. Ceiling hatch in bathroom covered in dirty masks.Dinner not available on second night

Good garden and characterful building close to village centre.
