Not much, only concern was the coving over where the bed was looked like it might fall at any time and a check out time of 11 instead of 10 would have been nice

We were told we could use the bar until 8pm however there was no-one in the bar nor any staff around to ask for a drink so we walked into town. I had a great / large room but unable to leave windows open (event though hot weather) due to noise of road. The side of the hotel where you enter is painted yellow and looks run down.

Good parking facilities straight off main road into Oban, good location for walking into Oban.

Lacking in some areas, no option of cooked breakfast and was a struggle to find as wrong postcode on booking.com so we went to the wrong location, when driving in Oban can be difficult as one way systems and steep narrow streets are hard to navigate, the postcode needs correcting on booking.com, the receptionist at the hotel even commented on how other guests had issues finding location😞

We didn’t realise there was no breakfast provided as last time there, was. We were offered breakfast boxes but we had a very early start and wouldn’t arrive in time. There was a leak in the bathroom which we reported on departure.

No breakfast offered at all unless you pay extra for a continental box delivered to your door, for the money paid to stay this should be included in the price. Car park narrow in places so could be difficult for larger cars

No Wi-Fi code in bedroom, had to ask at reception.

The location was five minutes walk from the town centre. It had a car park which was excellent. The hotel has recently been totally refurbished and my room was very modern ,bright and peaceful. The bed and pillows ere very comfortable and I had a very peaceful nights sleep.

We went out for dinner, by the time we got back around 9.30pm, their was no lights on in the front entrance & stairs which I didn't like only due to me being a little unsteady at times on my feet. It was very dark. The bed was very high to get in and out and this is only my preference but the mattress was extremely hard. I also found with my mobility that the shower had a step into it, but it was again quite high.

The location was perfect, very polite receptionist checked us in. Room was a great size overlooking the water. In the room we had tea & coffee facilities with some shortbread which was a nice touch. The hotel is immaculate and tastefully decorated.

We woke up to no hot water however, a quick phone call and all was well.

Lovely place, lovely staff, warm welcome. We had a suite and it was very comfortable. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Apart from checking in , we did not see any hotel personnel. Room not refreshed for second night stay. Not enough coffee or teas or towels for 2 nights. Situated on steep, busy hill so not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.

It looks like the whole place is undergoing a revamp and they are doing a fantastic job. Our room was really clean and comfortable as was the lounge/bar area. Thanks for a wonderful stay.
