How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The shower was very tempremental warm at first then scalding hot thought it would be ok after running it a while but then happened again.
Lovely b&b big room ,comfortable bed large bathroom. Great breakfast.

Shower cubicle small and bathroom cold.Carpark small and couldn't get a space on each day but owner did cover carparking fee for alternative which was really nice. Overall good value for money.
Staff really friendly, great location, food was really nice.Clean comfy room in great location to amenities.

It was very noisy. It is a pub so we expected some noise but it lasted until the early hours!
Breakfast was lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Our room faced the street and being a historical building the windows and doors do not insulate very well against noise.
The room was perfectly clean and spacious and was cleaned every morning of our stay. The breakfast was good and generous. The staff is friendly and welcoming.

The shower was very tricky and the cold water cut out a couple of times which made the flow extremely hot.
The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were very friendly.

Lovely place to stay. Rooms nice clean, tidy and warm. Brill 2 night stay . Breakfast was excellent. Staff friendly would recommend to anyone wanting a nice stay in Warwick close to centre.

The bathroom was very tight, but it is difficult to convert a 400 year old building!
The breakfast was great and very filling. Staff was great and flexible. My wife , 16 year old son and I were staying 3 nights for a weekend break and our son who is at Warwick University joined as for the some of the time. We were given an excellent rate for our 19 year old son to stay with us for 1 night (which included breakfast for him)

The heating was on a timer and went off at set times. We were cold on a couple of occasions but when we raised it the staff did make an effort to sort it out for us. Room 1 did not have double glazing so this didn’t help. The stairs to our room were on a spiral and someone with mobility issues may have struggled. It was noisy late at night on the Saturday due to rugby on tv in bar etc. My friend used ear plugs to get to sleep.
Breakfast nicely presented and good to have a vegetarian option. Room was nicely decorated and plenty of hot water for shower etc. The restaurant had a good ambience with Spanish themed menu. Staff were helpful and friendly.

The room was on the smaller side, but was perfectly adequate for what we needed. There was not a lot of room for the tea and coffee making facilities, but there was a nice selection.
Really friendly staff, family run and a nice comfortable atmosphere. The family run restaurant was excellent, home cooked, Columbian Tapas. A good choice of cereals etc at breakfast and a generous full English breakfast. It was extremely hot and the owner provided us with a fan and bottle of water.

Security light outside our window kept going off and on and someone's bathroom fan was on and off all night.
Breakfast was excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly. This was our third visit and we will be back next year
