first day breakfast was cold and poor. Second day was good. Room lacked privacy ie no net curtains for room a hand's-breadth from the car park.

This was my 3rd stay at Kinloch House, although a little different this time with the COVID restrictions but it didn’t spoil out stay. The staff are friendly and welcoming.The food as always was delicious.

The Owners ( The Allans ) have clearly invested a great deal of money during the lockdown to enhance the bedrooms with particular regard to the en suite facilities which are of a particularly high standard ' The hotel repeatedly has a consistency to supply a level of accommodation and standard of food which is just not available at other venues in Scotland at this level . Indeed the restaurant provides a quality and freshness of local produce which are just not available elsewhere even including some of those with Michelin stars. This is all overseen by the manager Paul who can only be described as impeccable along with the most able of staff .

Lack of stand-up shower in bathroom was a little too old-fashioned, but this is a minor point. Likewise lack of in room tea and coffee making facilities.

Beautiful historical hotel with excellent service. First-class dinner - fine dining supported by good wines and attentive service. Spacious comfortable room.

Nothing to find fault with. Perfect in every aspect.

We couldn't find one fault, everything was perfect, from arrival to departure. Warm welcome, spacious, clean, luxurious room with fantastic ensuite. Comfortable, sumptuous communal areas, beautiful dining and breakfast room. Food and service were first class. Wonderful setting with fabulous scenic views from the hotel. It;s not cheap, but you certainly get what you pay for.

Everything was exceptional! Excellent, impeccably clean, well equipped room with outstanding views. Very friendly, highly efficient staff and a superb evening meal. Plenty of free car parking close to main door and very comfortable well furnished bar and public rooms. Nothing could be faulted in this relaxing and most pleasant environment. We will return!

No wi-fi in room. Tiny shower cubicle. Booked dinner but no vegetarian option so cancelled. When checking out receptionist stated that there was wi-fi in the room and that had we wanted vegetarian option we could have asked. Young staff were untrained in service.

No facilities at all Little or no outdoor space (NV internet infers 25 acres or so…. this space is not walkable or really accessible to spend time in Worst was lack of coffee or tea facilities in room and breakfast not served until 8.30am. If you wake early it is not acceptable for hotel of this supposed standard,

Our room was poorly maintained, particularly the electric plugs, many of which didn't work. It was impossible to have a shower without getting water everywhere. The sink was ridiculously low. The room was very poorly ventilated and stuffy - couldn't turn the bathroom heater off. No fridge or tea making equipment, and tea and a biscuit for two cost £16. The bed was really soft and the TV was only 3' from the bed head.

The decor of our room was beautiful, as were the spectacular reception rooms. There were fine antiques and wonderful china displayed. The walled garden was also lovely. Breakfast bannock bread was lovely. Superb views and splendid highland cattle.
