Tobermory itself needs to be quicker off the mark in catering for visitors and opening up for the season. The big name pubs disappointing though no fault of Kirk Cottage management which was, as stated, faultless. Similarly, efforts on the ground to provide excellent service hampered by uncertainty surrounding ferries.

Accomodation and extended continental breakfast were excellent. Warm welcome. Faultless presentation on all counts. On street parking available which is necessary at top of hill.

When we arrived we had a lovely warm welcome from Alison who showed us to our room which was beautiful. The breakfast was amazing, continental style , plenty of choices , from smoked salmon, cold meats , cheeses , cereals , mixed berries, fresh fruit platter & several other items . Alison was very friendly & helpful with information, nothing was to much . We would definitely recommend this gem of a B&B . 😀 Ian & Trish.

The only floor was the sloping ceiling where the bed was so kept bumping our head.

Very friendly, very very clean. A good choice for breakfast and all freshly presented, the owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome and would recommend to anyone.

The host was very helpful and friendly, gave tips and phoned for us if the boot to Staffa was still running, that was a great trip. The breakfast is very good Salmon, cold meat and cheese, fruit, cereal. It was more than enough. It would have be nice to have a Scottish breakfast every now and then though. We can recommend this place👍

Shower inside a bath very común in Scotland although very dangerous and difficult to get in when you have problems with you knees or something else however was beautiful bath, big.

Nothing not to like

The host Graham is really friendly and personable. Very useful with all the latest information about Mull. Although the cottage is at the top of the steep hill overlooking Tobermory Harbour it is only ten minutes walk and very well placed to explore the town. The breakfast was fabulous each and every day.

Nothing to not like!

This b&b was fabulous. Very clean and comfortable. Alison was very friendly and helpful. Great location. A steep walk down to town but also easy free parking in town if you dont want to walk. Excellent continental breakfast.

The location although beautiful was a little too uphill for me. So if you have mobility issues maybe not the place unless you drive. I'm registered disabled so I did struggle. Maybe stay on the front of town. However, the taxi services are fab and able to take you to and fro very cheaply. So if Happy to get a taxi its fine. Room ceiling - I'm little so was fine. But hubby kept wacking his head on the low slopping ceiling. He kept forgetting. Tobermory was pretty. Shame about the rain. But there was lots of places to go. A wonderful waterfall and loch to visit 10 mins away. ❤️

The host Graham couldn't do enough. So hospitalible and helpful. Lots of tips. Lovely guy. The room was clean. comfortable and homeley and welcoming.The bed was the best we had slept in over 8 days including a very posh hotel. The breakfast was continental but amazing. Fresh salmon bagels and lots of fruit. So much choice The room was very lovely with lots of storage. Thank you for your hospitality xx
