Didn't know where to check in, no instruction on booking confirmation and spent 10 minutes wandering around till I bumped into a cleaner who told me to go into the burrito place next door. Paid for breakfast but it wasn't available (restaurant being refurbedished?) and breakfast might have been available on second morning but not before 8 which wasn't suitable for me as I needed to leave earlier.

Location on high street is good Rooms are a good size and comfortable

The first room which apparently was an upgrade to our booking had no working heating so we were upgraded again which meant we lost the quietness of the room to gain heating but it was a much better room. The bed was very hard and we both had bad backs the next day I've never slept on a bed that hard in my life!

The room needed updating in decoration and the bed was small. The breakfast left alot to be desired - cold coffee, inedible sausages.

The hotel was central and had parking. The bedroom was big and the bed was comfortable but small. The shower was good.

Sadly the first room was in a need of an update. There were a few problems like the key card was very temperamental and got locked out a few times and I couldn't turn off the radiator in my room and had to leave the window open to stop overheating.

Quaint and quirky vibe, large rooms, very pleasant staff, great location. I didn't like my first room but I upgraded to the King Suite with no problem at all and much preferred this. I would recommend going for one of the rooms with a four-poster bed if you can.

On arrival the entry to the hotel was locked so had to phone to get someone to open the door for me.The restaurant was also closed which was not previously advised to me.

Very good hotel right in the centre of old part of Hitchen.Had very comfortable room with all necessary facilities and very comfortable bed.Did not have breakfast as left for the airport early

The smell/ odour in our room which was on the top which could be a drain problems. I purchased an air freshener, simple enough.The window was very loose and letting in cold.my husband was able to correct as this is his field, simple enough to fix.No mattress protector .The extra blankets were on the floor of the wardrobe.No shower curtain this will ruin this Area.

Very central,so never stuck for coffee eating and drinking and shopping.Everyone inthe area were very friendly.Quirky rooms no fuss.The staff/ young gir was very on hands everytime I made contact very grateful. The bed was comfie.The bath was decent.Not a problem getting extra towels which came in handy for the bed.

Ceiling of room number 4 (the one at the top) is a bit low, if you're 2 meters tall like me! Couldn't stand up there. In any case, not a big deal

We waited almost 45 minutes for someone to show up to check us in, we were there at or estimated arrival time, and tried calling the provided number repeatedly with no answer. In also not sure I would pre-pay for breakfast again for multiple days.

The room was great, the location was good, the staff was friendly, aside from the check in it was a great place.

My first room was not very appealing and I was moved to a much nicer room without any problem. Excellent breakfast included in the room rate.
