Our room only has a chair, no desk. Our stuff has to place on the floor. It’s not very convenient.

Location is pretty good. Kitchen is also convenient to use.

The toilet situation was a bit uncomfortable. There were 2 toilets and 3 showers for each set of 4 rooms (which I can only guess had a minimum of 16 people in them if not more) and these are mixed gender. Which means when it's busy the loos are a bit of a hardship. Not to mention they really weren't very clean so I avoided using them where I could. It also says about stocking up toilet roll and wiping the seats after use yet it wasn't obvious where these could be found and the staff were not always available to ask. There are lockers in the rooms however you need to supply your own lock. This wasn't advertised and although they have a sign offering a lock for £1.50 actually on the lockers, the staff member told me they didn't actually have any and I had to go out and buy a set (for reference anyone needing one there is a convenience store about 5 mins walk away selling them for about £6). There were no individual light switches on the beds so the one light switch in the room had to suit everybody whether it was on or off. In summer this isn't too bad as it's light enough to still move around even when it's late evening but I can't imagine the issues it causes in winter.

The beds were comfy and the room I was in was fairly standard. The price was really good for near enough the city centre and it was right next to the Botanical gardens. There was a living room with a TV and Netflix although I didn't get a chance to test it out. The code to the door changed every day so the security was very tight and secure. The staff communicated this change to me as I left early in the morning on Day 2 just to make sure I had it which was very reaassuring.

I don't like the bathroom because it doesn't clean, maybe the guess didn't respect the role of the homestay. And there were mixing of men and female together that I don't really like it. I think it would be great if they have option for female travel alone and they can have option staying with other female traveler.

It doesn't include breakfast, but you can use the kitchen to make your own food plus tea and coffee. Also the staffs are very friendly to us. I appreciate it.

I put my hand on top of shower felt electrocuted a bit.Renovate the place , so it looks modest inside like paintings , good floor

It’s an old building so it’s not the cleanest place but it was obvious they were trying hard to clean it. Spotted a rat outside the window on the bottom floor. Some unusual characters in the communal room but harmless and never tried to interact with our group.

The location is great. The bedsheets were very clean and beds were comfortable, they made sure to keep our group together in the same rooms with no other guests. The staff were friendly and easy to deal with. Great for large groups that will only be getting a few hours sleep after a night out.

The locker are way too small to put a regular or big backpack or even a suitcase ! The floors were a bit dirty, everyone wears shoes to go to the bathroom... The water in the shower is either scalding or freezing, and its flow is very (very) low. When I arrived, the sheets from the previous owner of my bed were still there...

The stay was cheap and the matress are really comfy ! The staff is nice !

The showers need seeing to. The temperature bounces between hot and cold during its run. The bed sheets could be less thin and grip the bed mattress better. But not a big deal. Occasionally there’s troublesome people but same issue persists in any hostel.

Nice reasonable price. Great proximity to the city centre (only 10 minute drive to Titanic quarter). Great selection of convenience shops and take aways around the corner. Cosy beds. Warm rooms. Great friendly staff. Nice kitchen.

the whole aisle were we stayed needed a new floor and a fresh coat of pain. The bed was of poor quality and was noisy. The room [with a double bed] was small but that was not much of an issue. There was noise from the traffic outside and from the ajoining bedroom.

The kitchen and the TV room [where you could find lockers] were fine. The staff was helpful. The place was kept clean, and kudos to the cleaning staff in view of the behaviour of some of the guests, and of the poor state of [some of ] the building. The location was good, the price very affordable.

Renting a bath towel would have cost five pounds (which is too much), the showers were not very private, and I felt as if I was bitten by a bedbug on my eyelid and finger… as well as on my wrist. Although I did not see any bedbugs when I tried looking. Most of the staff were very friendly, but one was not very friendly. There was way too much noise and poor behavior outside during the late hours of the night, on some nights, especially on Saint Patrick’s Day. I would stay again, but probably only for one or two nights. Oh yes, and most of the lockers were not working as they were supposed to…

It was close to some good pubs, eateries, the Botanic train station, and Europa Hotel.

A real backpackers/ cheap digs forworkers in heart of queen's University area...lots of bars nice community cafes. Takeaways,spar nearby ..Good transport links,bus stop nearby,train station 5 minutes walk,a historic area of grandiose church's and the University, gardens with tropical plants .....Good night life in area,music,theatre, etc
