A ground floor room for mobility issues but booking .com had not passed on our request for a ground floor room. However the owner could not have been more helpful and found us a room with just a few stairs, she was extremely kind and helpful

Bathroom quite dark and cramped.

Staff are fabulous, all so friendly and lovely and really do make the place. Rooms are comfortable and cosy. Incredibly dog friendly, it was our first trip away with our youngest dog and they made it so easy. Great choice of breakfast and we also had Sunday lunch during our stay which was delicious and so reasonably priced! Great location for easy access to nearby beaches by car. Free parking is great and rear access is perfect for the dogs.

Friendly and quick check in from some busy working bar staff. Pictures online reflect the pleasant mix of old and new, bathroom updated, modern and large shower cubicle, large soft towels. Room with thick clean comfortable carpet and crispy clean bed linen. Did not use restaurant or bar facilities. Breakfast - a little of everything, tasty sourced food and cooked to individual request, full English breakfast. Great hospitality with morning staff. Served timely and with great friendliness, juice and hot drink. Breakfast timings ideal and comfort in the seating area. Quiet night, slept really well.

A cosy hotel. Comfortable bed. Good housekeeping, with fresh towels, teas, coffees and biscuits daily for the room. Warm, welcoming and friendly staff, with excellent service. Excellent, good quality full English breakfast. Nice Restaurant, with excellent food and friendly service. Cosy bar area, with a good selection of drinks. Free carpark behind the hotel. Hotel located nearby other pubs, local Red Lion Weatherspoons offering good food and a friendly atmosphere only 50 yards away from hotel.

Beautiful, huge room with views over the hills. Roll top bath, massive bed and a thick squidgy carpet. Delicious breakfast and friendly staff. It was so great!

We struggled to find the car park on arrival as google took us round in circles but when I asked the staff about it they were very helpful and we found it without too much bother.

We had a lovely stay at Lairds House. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious even with 1 adult, 3 children and a dog in it. And the food was delicious. They were very accommodating of our dietary needs. Would happily return again.

Very little. The only grumble, and I'm providing it for feed back, was that some jams at breakfast would have been nice and the table hadn't been set when we sat down. Everything else was great.

The accommodation was clean, well-presented, and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and included Stornoway black pudding, which is unusual to find this side of the border. The bar is great too, and busy, but there was a second overspill room, which was much emptier, and our family was able to gather in there and chat as we hoped to be able to.
