Lovely 1 bed flat with great river views! Great location too, only 30 min drive to Windermere and 2 min walk to Lakeland motor museum.

We ate at the hotel one evening, and the meals were quite expensive. bottles of wine approx £25 not even anything special some couples left when they checked out the menu/wine list prices they were shocked. Maybe a better idea to make the restaurant prices more suitable for holiday makers especially ones with children We paid over £100 for a bottle of wine 2 main meals and 2 puddings.

Just a recommendation…we travelled from London and arrived late Friday night. We didn’t think to stop and get any food or drinks and the apartment didn’t have anything. It would be nice to either put this in the apartments or offer a hamper to be bought when booking with some basics in….tea coffee milk sugar etc

Fold down bed wasn't the most comfortable we ended up taking the mattress off the bed and just sleeping on in on the floor, which was much more comfortable.

The cottage is surprisingly big. It comfortably accommodates a family of 4. Good range of kitchen equipment, TV and heating. Lovely view of the river. We'll situated on the south of the river so easy access to many towns and attractions.

The car parking spaces were too tight really. There is plenty of land to make them wider so hopefully this will be done.

It has an open fire and is cosy. The staff were fantastic..I accidentally booked it for the wrong date and turned up a moth early🤣 not only did they drive back after finishing work but got us a nice cottage. That deserves praise. Thankyou.

Absolutely blown away loved everything about it the space the cleanliness the location the price the quality of cottage and it’s utilities and the fact that even things like pots pans cutlery and glasses were all of excellent quality rather than cheap we can’t wait to come again

There was nothing not to like.

The cottage was bigger than expected, well set out, nice decor. The river was so relaxing, balcony & patio area were great. Sofa bed was comfortable enough. Beds were comfy.

There is not much to note. However, there is very little within walking distance, so you should bear that in mind.

The apartment was immaculately clean, the bed was unbelievably comfy, and the views were spectacular. You had everything you could need, including a hair dryer, some cleaning supplies, and even an umbrella!
