The only thing is the water in the lodge. Either you can have a boiling water running or cold water. So if you need a shower or wash dishes it’s little bit uncomfortable

We had a fantastic stay at Lakeside. Fishing was great. I caught our first ever Barbel. Caught most species, but no perch or roach. The owners are fabulous and sort any problems you may have, very quickly and take feedback on board. The cabin is a perfect size for 2 people.

Not a massive cabin, but had everything you needed and very comfortable. Very clean! Owners really friendly and helpful. It’s right on the lake, open the door and you’re ready to fish. Perfect.

Fantastic clean well equipped accommodation. Peaceful and great to fish right outside your door. My partner caught many fish every fish in the lake except bream. We are returning to bring his son at half term as he will really enjoy the variety.

no decent sunday lunches near for mid afternoon - most stop serving at 2 ( dont go to the malcolm arms!- Awful) but Paul and Amy are creating a big fire pit and pizza oven bar etc new for next year - I'll take that!!

Wow! what a lovely relaxing place! within a few hours of being there we wanted to stay another day. Brand new cabins, cosy and comfortable - I am not into fishing so chose to chill , read, watch films - my husband however is a fisherman.. sat for hours caught lots and we both had the best time. Fantastic secure field with agility stuff for doggos and a small wooded area for walkies, a fit pit at every lodge and wood fired hot tubs for most. double parking spaces for each cabin.. Paul was just lovely and came and checked we had everything we needed, Spoke to Amy on the phone and again just lovely! we will definitely be returning, this place although newly opened will just get better and better once the new saplings have grown, fish have maturedetc.. shhhh dont tell everyone !

Very relaxing , clean comfortable bed .Will definitely stay again caught lots of fish but husband didn't catch any Bream so he was a little upset .The hosts made us feel very welcome and that nothing was to much trouble.

This would be cherry on the top! As we loved the property so much, wanted to provide a constructive feedback 1. Fixing lights to make Cabin number plate visible during night 2. Better wifi speed

I love the personal touch at this property, brand new, value for money , clean facilities and super welcoming staff. The trip was awesome. I wanted to have that Father Son moment to cherish entire life. Together we learned how to fix fishing rod , how to fish and the place gave us everything that we were looking for. Small kitchen area with all required amenities / clean bathroom/ Comfy bedding/ Brilliant parking next to cabin and away from hustle and bustle of the city made our small trip memorable. Great going mate really appreciate the way you guys considered the minute details , good to know you and your family. We will certainly come back.

The roads getting to the area are narrow and full of pot holes but this isn't a reflection on the lakeside site but something to be aware of.

Amazing cabin with the extra few touches to make it's amazing, had a great stay and would definitely recommend this holiday destination to everyone. The cabins are presented well and are decorated and kitted out to a high spec with everything you could possibly need. The hot tub was warmed and ready for when we arrived which was a great start, the fishing facilities were great and my husband had a great time catching the fish. It will be great to return again and see how this develops looking forward to some more on site facilities coming in 2025

There isn't anything, perfect place for a break to recharge.

The cabins are perfect for 2 adults and maybe 2 children. Very comfortable, very clean and the little extras provided are a lovely touch. Tea, coffee, sugar, toiletries, and towels provided. Each cabin has its own fire pit and BBQ area and parking space. There is a welcome folder with all the information needed for your stay. There is a place to walk your dog, around the perimeter of the dog agility course and a small woodland area. You can hire the dog agility area for 50mins. The fish in the lake aren't very large but it is a new lake this year so that is understandable and we were made aware of this before we booked. It is great if you want to take the children fishing. You can order from several takeaways to your cabin and Skegness is short drive away. We would definitely recommend and will come back ourselves.

We loved every little thing there. Cabins are very warm and cosy, everything brand new, all facilities what we needed. Love this place as its child and dog friendly. Our 3 year old toddler had 1st expierence to catch fishes and he loved it. Owners was very welcoming and friendly. Very affordable place for families, and excelent place for little gateaway where you can enjoy quite nature place.
