Very modern and clean. A few cob webs hanging from bedroom ceiling but didn’t bother us. Everything you need home from home.

Lodge was very clean and spacious with all the things you need supplied. Would highly recommend stopping here as you are a stones throw from York and the surrounding area.

There isn’t very much outside of the site so if you aren’t wanting a quiet/ relaxing weekend I probably would avoid. Apart from that lovely stay.

It was absolutely gorgeous it’s like a little home away from home! Well equipped with cutlery and towels for each guest/bathroom. Was really clean and also pet friendly. Would definitely recommend.

The only thing I would say is, it was a bit of a pain there was no cleaning products under the sink. Could do with some anti bacterial wipes for cleaning and after cooking.

Everything, from before we arrived the staff were great. Called to see what time we would arrive - we were 5 minutes away, but the call was appreciated. Very helpful once we got there, helped us to extend our stay so we didn't have to leave so early, pointed us in the direction of shops and onsite facilities. Where was stayed was lovely, it had everything we needed and was very clean - except for the big spider that kept trying to join us each night. The hot tub was clean and we could sit there and watch the little ducks and have breakfast with them. Was a nice stay

the beds weren’t the comfiest or warmest but as we only spent 4 nights there we made do. the downside for us was the cleanliness of the property, it smelt of smoke when we first arrived (none of us are smokers) and there were cigarette ends at the end of the caravan. it had the biggest spider webs above the doors to the hot tub and in the master bedroom, overall the cleanliness wasn’t great but equally not something to put us off. the toilet brushes 🤢🤢

beautiful and modern property with a gorgeous view in a quiet area. it was so peaceful and just what we all needed for a relaxing break away. the fridge was amazing! heating easy to use, there was a bath which you don’t get in most lodges so that was also very lovely. overall we were very happy and would definitely come back.

A few things could have been cleaner, example the blankets on the sofas smelt a little stale.

Beautiful clean surroundings. House neat and clean, well equipped. Delicious food at a local bar. A warm comfortable house. We felt safe there. The hot tube was the highlight . I recommend to everyone.

We liked everything, noticed a lot of cobwebs in the top windows which didn’t cause any issues but didn’t look great.

Bed was a little uncomfortable, was OK for the 2 nights but would have struggled if longer.

The crockery/glasses and cutlery needed a thorough clean before use.

The location was great and the site itself was very clean and tidy. The onsite restaurant was excellent.

The kettle was unclean and wasn’t great when I poured my hot water so I had to boil water on the stove and also there were loads of cigarettes ends allllllll around the outside of our lodge.

The lodge was beautiful, the hot tub was perfect and you could order a takeaway to the lodge from the restaurant onsite - and the food from there was great!

My opinion is could do with a bit more lighting on the roads leading down to lodges as it’s a little too dark when you are walking dog or walking around

The park was lovely well maintained , staff were good , didn’t go in restaurant so carnt comment on that , but over all a nice peaceful break ,

I would say it was more of a caravan than a lodge. No space in the kitchen area because of the big table for 6 when the lodge only sleeps 4.

Everywhere was dog friendly which was just amazing. the entire space was clean and tidy, including the cabins and the open areas. facilities were brilliant and the staff were so attentive and friendly :)

the only thing was 4pm check in time seemed a bit late, we also had to wait untill 6pm for the cleaners to be finished so felt like the day was waisted maybe have a later check out time if the check in time is going to be that late😊
