I suppose if I was being picky then the only thing that got me was it lacked privacy when in the hot tub, we put the lid from the tub down one side and the other side was hidden by the table, but the bottom was very open so people were walking past which I felt quite conscious about, but I still loved the whole experience.

I loved the whole experience of it. The lodge was immaculate, it was a home from home experience. Will certainly be booking up again next year.

Thought the hot tub jets were really poor, only a few worked. Woke up Monday to no electric so couldn’t have breakfast or a hot drink until sorted.

couple of minor errors - the main bedroom window does not stay open so I have to use a utensil to stop it from shutting as the weather has been red hot. the tv signal is not good but we watched Netflix so wasn’t an issue. also the hot tub needs a few repairs as the jets came loose quite a few times but it did not ruin our experience

Ebor lodge was spotless! The sofas and beds were really comfy and it had everything we needed to self cater… oh and it kinda goes without saying - the Hot Tub was fab! The site itself was extremely well maintained and looked immaculate. Communication before, during and after our stay was perfect. Was just a stones throw away from Allerthorpe Lake where we booked Kayaking and Paddleboarding for our two teens - will definitely be going back!

inside the lodge was not 100% clean there was food and mold down the side of the single bed the kettle was filled with limescale and we were unable to have a cup of tea

Elbor lodge is a bit older than some of other lodges I have stayed in on site There is lack of floor brushes or hoover or mop and bucket as I have a dog and necessary to keep on top of things . No iron or ironing board TV faulty only little things but needed things

The hot tub wasn’t as powerful as we expected but the staff came and looked and sorted it very quickly.

Wasn’t completely clean, especially when being asked to pay £45 towards it. Dust on towel rails, dirty smudge marks on windows. Showers small and temperatures could not be adjusted, the taps were just loose and did nothing. Fairy lights on decking do not work. Not about the lodge itself, but the resort. £4.80 for a small beer from the “takeaway hut” is ridiculous. ended up driving to a local shop instead.

Quiet location, nice lodge. Easy check-in. Good price for a late deal. big hot tub. On-site bar staff were lovely and good place to have a pint in the sun.
