No suggestions - the accommodation was perfect.

The Cottage was exactly as pictured on Booking.com. My family needed a very quiet bolt hole which was clean and had good wifi to recharge our batteries in the middle to a hectic trip. This is exactly what we got. The hosts are extremely warm and friendly. The location is absolutely tranquil. There was adequate off road parking for a large van. We got to have a river-side evening walk before a peaceful nights sleep. The cottage was very clean with every amenity considered. We even had a recommendation for breakfast the following day. The price is as you would expect for the area and worth every penny.

Description makes it clear no kitchen facilities that's the only thing it lacks. However enough for morning cereal, toast teas and coffees plenty of places within few minutes drive to eat out or takeaway.

Beautiful garden. Lovely hosts with young children and 2 gorgeous labradors. Very peaceful stay, lovely clear beck at the bottom of the lane next to the pub for a dip.

Thanks so much for a lovely stay! We booked last minute and Jo and Kevin were incredible hosts. It's a beautiful annex with two bedrooms and just such a lovely setting.. There's a great pub just down the road for dinner and a quiet drink, plus incredibly close to Winchester and New Alsford.

For us, this place was perfect for our trip to Goodwood. The accommodation had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. Kevin and Jo are excellent hosts, knowledgeable about the area and extremely helpful.

Unfortunately their neighbours had a very noisy wedding reception. This was out of their control but made it hard to sleep.

We think it could be greatly improved to get an excellent if there was a place where you could sit up at a table for breakfast. We are of the older generation and do not find lap meals congenial for our digestive systems.

Very well appoininted and extremely comfortable accommodation in a self contained annex attached to the owners house. There are 2 bedrooms (1 single, 1 double), a smart family shower room, and a downstairs sitting room . There was everything we needed - towels, toiletries, hairdryer, lots of tea and coffee,, milk, cake and biscuits. Jo and Kevin made us feel very welcome. They gave us good advice on where to go and how to get there. Nothing was too much trouble. They could not have been kinder. There was lots of crockery and cutlery. We would leave that which we used outside and it was brought back all clean for the evening. I wish I had that service at home. We had lovely weather so ate breakfast on the patio in the sun. We enjoyed walking locally on the Watercress Way and by the River Itchen. New Alresford is 2 miles away is a pretty Georgian town with small local shops and eateries. Winchester is not far and well worth a visit as lots to see and do. The local pub just down the road serves great food in a beautiful setting. We particularly enjoyed the homemade steak and ale pie. We would definitely recommend staying and hope to again.

Lane End Cottage is a lovely quiet, comfortable, and spotlessly clean property surrounded by scenic countryside. The beds are especially comfortable and we slept well. The cottage comprises two bedrooms, shower room, and comfortable downstairs living area with well equipped tea and coffee making facilities including kettle and toaster. Hosts are welcoming and helpful. Overall great value for money

A very comfortable lounge downstairs two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. Hosts are extremely friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Superb location and just what we wanted.
