Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

EstoniaProperty does not look as on the photos. Garden was indeed messy as mentioned in one other review - bubble bath dirty, furniture rusty and unpleasant, pallets stored, broken flower pots. There were many things puzzling me. Instructions received prior to arrival lengthy, not structured, repetitive, promising fines - difficult to refer and navigate thru. Upon booking, terms notified of cash deposit upon arrival to be returned at departure. It turned out that due to contactless check-in I need to wire deposit. Local UK account details were sent. I spent quite a time to get international IBAN. At the end I lost some 7% of deposit on conversions and fees. Also got depo back only 4 days after checkout and only after sending a reminder request. Instructions told I need to collect trash and place it outside property, but does not mention whether in the inner yard or on the side of the street, so upon arrival we found trash in front of the property. somebody was same confused, and there are foxes running around tearing trash bags. Some unknown car was parked at the property during our whole stay, Inside - I understand when the ancient staircase is creaking, but not the bathroom door, it just needs to be oiled properly, and this is annoying. There is aged dirt and dust behind the furniture. There are cords hanging all over. There is cupboard placed atop another shelf, shaking, posing the risk for my 4yr old kid. There is wardrobe occupied with some owner stuff, limiting space to hang clothes (my daughter could not hang the dress properly). We actually did not care too much as were staying for 2 nights only, and majority of time we spent in our friends' house, using this only for a night sleep. And we did not use kitchen or living room totally, so can't tell of those facilities too much. Some photos of flaws are attached.
We needed to stay in this area as we came to visit friends who live close by. Location is great. Safe neighborhood. There is good infrastructure nearby with restaurants and cafes rated above 4 on google, and they are good, we mostly dined there or at friends' place. Groceries are also nearby. Very green, there is even a small river close. Property itself is rather classic English old style. It was generally fine, but not to the level we expected from photos.

United KingdomThe promised hot tub wasn't filled or turned on. All of the bedding smelled of damp. The instructions for the property didn't make sense e.g. talking about a gate key fob for parking and taking all the rubbish to the large bins within the complex (it's a normal house with a driveway and dustbin?) I've been emailed promising my full deposit back but still waiting for the money 3 days post check out.
Lots of bathrooms and easy to park.

AustraliaSo disappointed, I don't quite know where to start. The check-in process was ridiculous. Had to provide direct to the host a security deposit of $250 pounds. I was so uncomfortable not paying through booking.com. Further, it took me at least two weeks (and a lot of email requests) to get my money back. Also, before I could get the key lock box number I had to send via text a picture of myself holding an identifying document, namely my passport or licence. As far as cyber safety goes - this is appalling. I am very, very sure they are not complying with GDPR legislation by insisting on this. I felt like I had no choice but to do this though as they already had my money and we had nowhere to stay. The wi-fi didn't work when we arrived and then when it was "fixed" it was so slow it was useless anyway. We notified but heard nothing back. No power outlets in any of the bathrooms. The house itself so poorly maintained - wires coming out of walls, curtains half hanging off, the banister knob was broken and just sitting in place (so dangerous), the cupboards were full of junk, there was an unpleasant chemical smell and there were dirty cigarette butts all over the back porch area. The clothes dryer didn't work and was full of wet linen when we arrived - again I asked for help and heard nothing. There was no curtain in the main bedroom so both neighbours' gardens looked right in - absolutely no privacy. Also, there were people living in some rooms to the side of the house, (you could hear talking and arguing) - their back room also looked into the garden, so again, no privacy, but most importantly - you are definitely not renting the "entire" house. The hot tub wasn't working, and it wasn't made known prior that it was only seasonal. However, it was also left with stagnant water sitting in it. The photos are an absolute misrepresentation of what you are getting.
Location was good - walking distance to both overground and underground trains.

United KingdomNo bin bags, no toilet paper, blood stain on one pillow when we arrived, soap almost ran out, green lime scale crust on tap faucets, showers/bathrooms need deeper cleaning, curtains fell off the wall in living room as they’re hung improperly (could have been a past guests fault), hot tub in pictures not clean (I’m not sure if there’s a time of year operation with that) had to remind them to give me the deposit money back but they did give it all so no worries there

United KingdomThe bed linen was dirty on arrival. On check out, the bottom sheet on my bed was not changed by the cleaner as no clean sheets were available at the property. The tea towel in the kitchen was dirty - I couldn't find any clean ones. The house had not been hoovered adequately. The bathrooms were not clean. The shower trays and toilets needed attention The bath tap in the family bathroom was broken The curtains in the sitting room and one of the bedrooms were hanging off the rails and one curtain is completely missing. The threshold fitting to one of the bedrooms has a sharp raised edge. Lamps without bulbs, and a broken bedside lamp The house had an unpleasant smell which seemed to be coming from the family bathroom Kitchen cabinet door broken

United KingdomLack of things like tea towels and bottle opener. There are no basics in the cupboards. Garden a mess, whole house smelt damp/stale. The whole house felt unloved. We didn't want to stay longer than absolutely necessary. The neighbours were lovely and let us borrow a bottle opener.
We needed a place in Enfield as had an appointment in the afternoon. The location was perfect.

I don't usually leave reviews but made an exception to praise the lovely hosts who saved the day on a last minute emergency booking. The house is so spacious and in a quiet location with ample parking. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to family & friends. Will definitely be booking this next time we are in the area.

Large house was a perfect place for us to come & stay as we travelled up from Essex the day before my daughters wedding, which was held at Capel Manor. All of the double rooms had en-suites plus you had a large family bathroom as well as a down stairs toilet. Large Kitchen Dinning area which was very well equipped. We loved our stay.
