How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

There is nothing to dislike.
Location close to Corsham town centre, well equipped and comfortable, host had kindly left breakfast cereals, tea & coffee, milk, biscuits, bread, butter, jam & marmalade & milk so we were all set for breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and the annexe is generally spacious for two occupants.

Spacious and comfortable work accommodation; short drive from local industry and a mile or so walk to downtown Corsham with its restaurants. Very well equipped.

If I had to find fault (and this is really picky!) but the bathroom shelf was a little low for me and my family (we're all rather tall) and washing your face was a bit of a challenge - floor got rather wet as a result. But that's just us! Nothing else problematic - all top rate otherwise.
Lovely fresh bread, milk, jam, tea, coffee and breakfast supplied. Excellent kitchen facilities. Very modern apartment, well equipped and easy to find / access. Hosts were fantastic communicators - all very straightforward.

Well located for visiting the Cotswolds area, very easy to reach. Place is very comfortable (bed and sofa bed) and you have all amenities needed. Host is great and very helpful. Great breakfast provided

The only thing is that there isn’t a separate room for sleeping, but there obviously isn’t the space for it. Just was quite a high nightly cost for a one room 2 bed set up. The bathroom could do with a bit of attention on the sealant in the shower as was a little mouldy. Otherwise very very clean.
Had everything you needed, even kitchen essentials and tea and coffee etc. comfortable beds. Thank you.

Very minor detail, but the gas boiler located in the loft space is a bit noisy especially when it cuts in during the night.
The property is very well located reasonably close to Corsham and within easy driving distance of Bath. It has a great range of equipment and appliances and is spacious for a single roomed annexe, with a large comfortable bed. There is space for one car on the driveway and it has a powerful and easy to control shower in the bathroom area. The hosts had left an initial supply of teas, coffees, milk and biscuits which was much appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Everything was very tidy and clean, bed was super comfy. It was like from home to home with all nice and lovely little things. Kitchen was fully occupied with everything you would need, cleaning stuff also provided. Shower and face towels for every guest. Food for breakfast was left in the fridge and on shelves. The host was very helpful and friendly, gave all information needed and was promptly replying to the messages. I would highly recommend this studio to a couple or family up to 4 people.

When the sofa bed was made up it was difficult to see the TV. Despite one photographs of the property showing continental breakfast on the table there was none provided, just semi skimmed milk, tea bags and instant coffee

Only staying 1 night
Great communication with host. Accommodation was warm and welcoming and had absolutely everything you could think of. Provision of breakfast was a real bonus to us. Pillows and duvets were like being wrapped in clouds... I really struggled to get up for our early start this morning. We will definitely book again as really convenient for family nearby.
