Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United KingdomThere were no waste bags in the in room bin and bathroom bin (not sure if by design or missed by house keeping) and an extra toilet roll would have been a bonus. Also, the air con button lights, lead to a disturbed night as are very bright and cast a light across the whole room.
The overall experience was good from start to finish. Fairly prompt check in and room was nice and spacious and clean. Friendly staff on arrival and the young lad serving coffee at the bar the next morning, went above and beyond and finished the stay off with 5* service and memories.

United KingdomI could hear peoples doors closing at night and it kept waking me up. I’m a mum of 2 and I had booked myself into the hotel to get a good nights sleep but I didn’t really get it. It was also cold. I needed extra blanket which I couldn’t find in the room. I turned the heating on but it didn’t seem to help.
Breakfast was lovely, room was lovely and clean and well laid out. Staff were polite and helpful.

United KingdomNo vegan options on the evening meal menu. The website mentioned a gym but didn't say there was a pool (but my son told me the gym was very good).
The staff were professional and discrete and made sure our very large family group were catered for in every way. The rooms were clean, quiet and spacious. The breakfast buffet had a large selection for those wanting a full English or a more continental selection. The evening meal menu also had a good selection.

United KingdomThe top shelf in the wardrobe was dusty, this was a little bit disappointing as I like to set out my clothing and use all of the spaces in the room.
Very nice and clean room with a spacious bed with nice clean and comfortable linen. A very nice bar and foyer area and a decent gym. The breakfast was nice, thei hotel is definitely worth visiting.

United KingdomThe beds are a little too soft, and the lobby up-lighting turns ON at 11.30pm, which isn't great since half the bedrooms face onto the lobby and the curtains don't fully close. Not sure why service charge was included for ordering bar food. AC was required to be on for ventilation as the windows didn't open, so my skin got very dry. It is a shame that the bedroom I got looked out onto the lobby rather than outside, but then maybe the outward facing rooms were loud - who knows!
The staff at the front desk were very friendly as well as some of the bar staff. The sandwich and chips were nice, albeit pricey. The rooms were and the bed was very big. The location was good. Free parking for members. The lobby and bar areas are nice and comfortable. Shame the restaurant wasn't open when I visited.

United KingdomWe had a very lovely breakfast delivered to the room, as we had to be somewhere early and we were short of time. Full English and the huge selection of pastries were delicious, however no plate or serviette for my pastries, no knife to help butter or jam the croissants etc (must of been an oversight of the waitress) managed to steal my husband’s knife and use his serviette as a plate. Also you book the breakfast online on your phone, gave no option to order juice or a drink with my pastries. My husband’s hot breakfast came with a mug of coffee with fresh milk. (Coffee/tea/kettle in the room btw)
Arrived with my husband about 12.30pm, requested an early arrival time the week before, but no room ready obviously, which they had warned in an email. But they kindly upgraded for free our double room to a double/double room that was ready. We came with family, and they got a free upgrade too. We also got free parking. Lovely room and hotel, lobby and restaurant laid out nicely, comfy chairs. We had lunch and later drinks in the evening . Staff so helpful, really enjoyed our stay. We stayed on the 3rd floor, and the rooms were very quiet. Would definitely recommend.
