Cleaning staff need to improve., as they couldn't replace the correct number of towels, make the beds properly or replace the twa and coffee items Carpets tired in passageways and defective frout in bathroom. Lighting in the room was poor with no central white lights

The proximity to the railway is excellent. Good bar and restaurant incl breakfast area. Great breakfast variety. Reception,bar and restaurant very friendly and obliging

We had a superior room however i don't know what made it superior. The bed was a standard double, the bathroom was basic I thought it was a lot of money for what it was.

The communal areas within the hotel were welcoming as were the staff. The breakfast was great, with lots of choices including fresh g=fruit, hot food, breads and cheeses.

Location, it’s about 15 mins from the sea front so had to get a taxi The food and drinks were expensive in the restaurant, and the pillows weren’t very nice

The shower tiles were turning black at the bottom. Also, the painting above the bed was full of dust. When coming in and out of my room, the keycards failed multiples time to gain entry, even after getting them changed at reception. The TV should also come with a remote, instead of standing up having to change the channel or volume from the TV itself. Finally, the bed head was peeled and worn out. It looks like someone was scratching the bed head

The bed was indeed a DREAM, I never wanted to leave the bed. The options of teas were great, especially having a peppermint tea at night. The view was amazing, there was so much to see. The bedroom was spacious and cosy. I really miss it already and the staff gave me privacy which I admire the most. The location is ideal as it’s near the station, also the beach and Royal Pavilion so it was convenient.

The orange juice at breakfast is ATROCIOUS, cheap & nasty diluted orange drink. Please provide real orange juice, it seems really mean to serve a cheap alternative and lets the breakfast down.

Great location near train station. Hotel decor & environment is fresh, clean and vibrant. Staff are superb and very welcome & professional. Food in restaurant is pretty good for a chain hotel. Executive room was spacious and very comfortable, and had all amenities required. Was delighted to have a USB socket in the room as I forgot to bring a plug.

Perfect for what we needed, short wak into the laines but set back enough to get a good nights sleep, comfy bed too, we paid a small fortune last summer for 3 nights in a 5 star hotel in brighton, didnt sleep for 3 nights due to noise. Know where i will book again 😊

We ate at the hotel one evening, which was a really poor experience The actual food was of poor quality and priced for the quality too high. I could have purchased the ingredients for the meals at a cost of approx £5.00 and yet was charged approx £90.00. The service etc was also poor, please do not eat here in the evening

The lights in the room are few and dim. We wanted to avoid opening the curtains as you could see directly into our rooms. It’s not a big problem it’s just hard when you’re trying to find something in the room and the lights are in the corners of the room. However a slight problem was the cleaning, we had our room cleaned and the beds had been laid but the sheets hadn’t been cleaned. My mom noticed this as she had made a slight stain the previous day and it was still there after the cleaning. All it seemed like they really did was lay the bed, empty the bins and add towels.

I liked the variety of the breakfast and how quick it was to check in and check out. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were a fair size for me and my mom. I love the size of the bathroom and the lights on the bathroom mirrors. We had both a choice of a bath and shower in our bathroom.

There was nothing to dislike.

Perfect location just a short walk to the beach and busy areas of Brighton. Bonus being that the station car park is directly opposite the hotel entrance. Would have been good to know that you need to download the Connect parking app beforehand. It was easy to do but would prove annoying if in a hurry. Hotel was very clean and staff very welcoming and friendly. Value for money hotel, that’s exceptionally clean and ideally located when visiting Brighton!
