How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Breakfast wasn’t great and steep price for what you got.
Nice and big, nice coffee area and bar. Swimming pool looked good but we didn’t use it.

The biggest oking system for the pool & people vaping at the side of the pool

Day 2 we had a rough night due to group booking disturbance from 3am to 6am in the hallway - suggestion = group bookings can be allocated in a section/rooms away from those who has come from far for a quiet weekend break.
Breakfast - great selection Room - clean, spacious Dinner - good choice, quick service Pool - clean Parking - safe Reception - well staffed, great customer service

The only things I would change is the phone I tried multiple times to get room service but the phone wasn’t ringing. And make sure you get the code for the way out we didn’t realise and got to the gate and then rung for help but there was no response.
The property was really clean and the rooms were spacious and comfy beds. Staff were all really friendly and helped in the best way that they could.

A better greeting when arriving. I’m sure reception greet lots of people a day but for us is was special treat.
We were given an upgraded room, which was lovely. The breakfast was superb and the gentleman in charge was very friendly. The only small comment could be a couple of the reception staff could have been a little friendlier.

Loo’s way to far from the main restaurant, nearly back to room.
Attractive property well located for where we needed to be. Rooms spacious, clean and comfortable. Zena in restaurant superb looked after us so well, food good and plentiful.

I am disabled, which I mentioned in my booking form. However, there was no easy access to the room, no disabled facilities in the room and I had to walk a long way to get there.
Good to have real people at check-in. The staff were excellent and always very helpful. Breakfast was great and the restaurant had a good choice of meals at reasonable prices.

The hairdryer didn't work in our room and there was too much chlorine in the pool that myself and the children had problems with keeping our ours open.
We have stayed here a few times over the years and the staff are always friendly. The room was really big compared to other places we have stayed in the area.

The grout and sealant in the shower needs cleaning, they should be white. Also the shower was an open ended design, but the screen wasn’t long enough to stop the water ending up on the floor in a large puddle It would have helped to have been directed to tables at breakfast. It was a bit of a free for all.
Clean and comfortable room. There was a big event on the night we stayed but we heard no noise, no banging doors etc. Good bar area. Staff were friendly and made us feel welcome.

The biggest thing that lets this hotel down is the Triumph bar service is slow, the food isn’t great and it takes too long long to get served, when all you want is a “bar snack “ The Marco Pierre white restaurant is ok but extremely pricey for what it is and the food is not always great either.
Always clean and comfortable, and the check in staff are absolutely fantastic.

A very busy, large conference-type hotel and just a minute from the motorway. Spacious room, and bathroom. Excellent restaurant although a little expensive but the hotel is good value.
