Just being picky but the bathrooms are very dated, need refurbishing as a 4*

Location was excellent. Cheap parking at £5 a day. Swimming pool and sauna was ideal. Room had everything you need to make your stay comfortable and a lovely big bed. The staff on reception were lovely… nothing too much trouble and very friendly.

Due to staff shortage over the Christmas period the restaurant full menu wasn’t available, lunch menu was provided in the evenings. As we were unfamiliar with the local area a full menu would have been appreciated to save one of us remaining tea total.

Hard pillows , limited food menu this week presumably due to Xmas. No Kids choices had to pay for a full pizza at £17 pounds.

Amazing value for money, cheap parking. Hot tub and pool at no extra charge. Over the road from the empire and close to cinema and Nando’s. Staff were lovely. Bed was comfy and room was nice. Definitely be staying again!

A noise from outside my room constantly, some like a massive air conditioner or generator. was a bit distracting

The restaurant lets the hotel down. I've had to send food back on both occasions I've eaten there and I'm not especially fussy (the breakfast is great and the food selection is wide though).

The King Koil mattresses at the Leonardo hotel are blissful and the staff are all lovely. It's convenient as it's so close to the station. Gluten free bread and lactose free milk alternatives are available.

Car parking is an additional charge and a real tight squeeze when parking the car

We were in room 219 there was a strange smell every time you entered the room?, on arrival there was a sign at reception to say that the restaurant and bar were not available to us for both nights of our stay, had we been informed of this before confirming our booking we would most probably have booked elsewhere, on Saturday we put do not disturb sign on our room as we left, as we had private documents in our room, we returned to room to find that staff had been in and made beds, and cleared up, despite the sign on the door, documents had not been disturbed but was alarming that sign had been ignored,. everything else was of a good standard

Had stated in a Leonardo in Brighton earlier on the year, was very happy with everything, so had no hesitation in booking with you again, not so good this time

Sadly the bar and restaurant were closed both nights due to Christmas parties….had we had prior notice, we would more than likely have booked somewhere else, as we like to have a drink at the hotel, and dine at least one night of our stay. Some of the guests on our floor also had an after party party! Very noisy in the corridors and a room near us on our last night, until the early hours, which left us very tired for our 4 hour journey home.

Loved the property itself, the location and the staff.
