The breakfast seemed to be quite greasy although the vegetarian option's were plentiful.

Staff were very welcoming and attentive. Room was pleasant and clean. Short taxi driver to the cruise terminal or Southampton Central. Fab little "off the shelf" section for any treats / drinks or travel items you may want. Breakfast had a varied continental/ hot selection.

Was given complimentary drink vouchers but every time we went to the bar there was no bar staff had to ask at reception if any 1 was at the bar they called for someone but they still never turned up so was a bit disappointed because we probably would of bought a couple of drinks as well as the complimentary drink. Also the pillows in the rooms were like sleeping on sandbags they were so hard.

The hotel is located on a busy traffic corner and difficult to reach when you are out walking, you need to plan your approach.

We were given a room upgrade which was fantasic, the room was spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly at the reception desk who made a big effort to get us a taxi when things were busy. Good restaurant and bar facility.

The bathroom and cleaning. The bathroom was not having toilet brush. The quality of the toilet paper were not upto the standard. Also, there was no soap provided. The soap station was much beyond the reach of my 5 year little girl. They need to take care of these things. Also, during the midnight suddenly the Air conditioner did stop and you will suffocation. The same also needs to be taken care.

I liked the staff behavior the most. They were excellent in their services. The room was spacious. We were able to upgrade our room from one double bed and one single bed to two double bed at a good price. The room was given before our checkout time.

Location right next to large parks a bonus. Dinner in the restaurant was well-prepared and prices similar to other eating locations. Good spread for breakfast, with many gluten free options. Comfortable bed, free baggage storage very convenient.

The staff are all very friendly and professional. Lewis on Reception and Joseph the restaurant manager deserve special mention. Joseph heard us mention my sister’s birthday and arranged a cake, he also accommodated some specific needs for my Mum which we were very grateful for

As a city hotel, it probably would have been beneficial for the bar to be a late one........a lot of people returned and asked if the bar was open.....I think they're missing an opportunity 🤔

Nothing felt like you were being ripped off......the room was good value for money, the bar prices were reasonable, the food prices were good 👍🏻

We had a window that said it had restrictors on , when we went to open the windows there weren’t any and you could have thrown yourself out - reported to reception Check in was very busy , car parking could be an issue for some

PILLOWS WERE A LITTLE TOO FIRM FOR ME, BUT THAT WAS A SMALL PROBLEM. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS SUPERB.
