It was a bit annoying when the hot water was used in the ajoining property, it caused the pipes to knock which could be heard in the cottage.

Quiet one bed apartment with lovely villages nearby. All you need to stay for a few days. Well maintained. Country walks nearby.

Hot tub is very deep. I couldn’t sit down in it and I’m 5’ 3. Bathroom needs a bath mat as floor gets wet after shower and kitchen needs some oven gloves.

Great location for Alnwick and surrounding areas. Plenty of facilities and the hot tub. Well equipped in terms of the crockery, cutlery. Small amount of tea and coffee making facilities which was nice.

Bedroom mirror- couldn't see in it when sat on bed to dry hair etc, maybe it could be turned portrait? No fish slice/spatula which I didn't realise until it was time to take my fried eggs out the pan 🙃

The property was exactly as specified. The only thing I'd say is it can take a while to get a taxi to/from Alnwick so good to book one a couple of hours in advance if you can.

Really good space with everything we needed including little touches like a coffee pot/ salt and pepper and blankets for the sofa. The hot tub was heated in advance so was good to go and there was a comprehensive info pack with instructions, contact numbers and local recommendations. We also left some lost property behind and Sue was quick to respond and post back.

The property was in a lovely village with a hot tub. It had everything we needed and was cosy and comfortable. It was an ideal location for visiting the many delightful coastal villages. The host was very informative and friendly. Shame the village pub is shut but plenty of others short distance away.

High stools for eating, and toaster controls unmarked. Very cramped but ideal as base for exploring surrounding area.

The only thing we struggled with, which was purely down to our preference and not the property it’s or the owner was the bed, it was too soft for me, I have Fibromyalgia and arthritis and I didn’t sleep very well as kept waking up in pain, but it was a very soft bed and I just prefer and need something firmer

Lovely place to stay. It was perfect for exploring Northumbria in a quiet setting. Our host gave us instructions how to get there, the hot tub was ready to go when we arrived. There was also good recommendations regarding where to eat in the information folder.

The hot tub was a great facility but the cleaning chemicals were very over powering so it was hard for us to stay in for long, eyes were watering and did get to the back of our throat.

It was very comfortable and cosy. A good location and dog friendly. Our little dog's first holiday which he thoroughly enjoyed

The apartment didn't have a oven . Honestly that is the only thing I can think of .

Didn't like that we couldn't park car next to Lodge. not ideal for unloading and loading all our belongings and food and drink. There was a slight smell of drains in the bathroom. The bedroom was lovely and cosy but there was no space at end of bed...had to walk like a crab to pass end of bed so getting ironing board out to use and put case in cupboard which you had to pass the bed to get to was rather awkward. we were disappointed that the local pub was closed as we thought that was bonus just being down the road which is obviously no fault of yours......

The parking, however, there was no traffic on this tiny cul de sac,so our initial concern soon evaporated.

The whole cottage feel! It was cosy without being cramped. The kitchenette was great, and the "bar" table was the most appropriate for the room. The bedroom was lovely and had a well-sized integral wardrobe. The bed was very comfortable.

Lovely accommodation in a great location for exploring Alnwick and other surrounding areas. Comfortable and perfect for our short stay. The hot tub was great and very relaxing after a day out walking.

you had to drive to most places although you could walk but on a busy road,

it had everything you needed, very small but comfy, there was a wee park opposite to run the dog and the enclosed garden was fab for the dog
