Cleanliness - dusty wall lights, dirty walls in the shower. It is not so difficult and time consuming to clean it!!

The only downside was we didn't get fresh towels or bed linen in the 4 nights we stayed.

It was very laid back environment we were out most days and I ky came back at night, staff were lovely, beds comfy, food is gorgeous and very reasonable, always had enough hot water for showers and we had full co tell of the temperature of our room. It was perfect for what we wanted it

Nothing the price of the stay is what you would expect for the room quality

Really good value for the price not the greatest hotel room in we've stayed in but for the price it was what It should be. The staff every single one was absolutely fantastic so help full and welcoming anything we asked for we got they cant do enough for you we can honestly say even the the rooms are very average the staff were one of the most accommodating in all the hotels we have been to.

Walls are very thin, I could hear word for word the TV programme that the person in the next room had on, and the TV wasn't on overly loud at all, so don't expect your conversations or calls to be private! To be clear, the guest didn't have the TV on at an ungodly hour. I think the hotel may have had an engineer booked in for maintenance though as at 8.03 am, intermittent drilling started what felt like in the room nearby Checkout is at 10am. Obviously I don't know what availability that engineer had, but I would've thought the best practice would've been for the drilling to start after guests had checked out.

I know the area quite well. This hotel is part of a lovely, popular local pub. Car parking isn't a problem, maybe a bit busier at weekends. There is a Tesco Express literally a minutes' walk away with a cash point. 5-6 minute drive into the town centre. 8-10 minute drive to Junction 10 M42. Guests have the use of tea and coffee facilities which are located in the room with the Pool Table. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I thought the ceiling light in my room wasn't working; using the switch on the wall was not turning the light on, reported this to the member of staff and she came and had a look immediately. Turns out, you needed to use the light switches by the headboard of the bed which I thought controlled the bedside lamps!! Compact room with soft double bed. Shower was lovely and powerful (I was on the ground floor room 6). Decent sized wall mounted TV. New digitally controlled radiator that had been installed warmed up very quickly. Dressing table and bed side table in the room, both with ample sockets (I have stayed in one hotel where there was just one plug socket before, not a biggie, but if you're charging or using multiple devices and wanting to blow dry your hair or iron your clothes, it's an inconvenience). Niche with a rail and shelf to hang/store your clothes. Soft clean carpet in the room. Room felt light and airy, as painted white, white bed linen and a window that looked out onto the car park. Pillows were a bit flimsy, if you're used to firm neck support, might be worth bringing your own. Towels provided were soft and clean.

Didn't have breakfast overall was a lovely stay clean just only got 1 bath towel but 2 hand towels and there was no hand soap and no complementary shower gel blind was broken had to wind up by hand and only had 2 pillows maybe these could be rectified

Overall a pleasant experience an will be looking to stay again soon

Very tight fisted - no kettle no cups etc not even a little bar of soap to wash your hands after using the toilet. No mattress protector - just very basic with no b and b staples at all. Pub is quite loud which is to be expected but felt excessive at times . Breakfast is only on from 9am so useless if you’re there for work. Check in staff were really friendly but the woman there when I checked out couldn’t even be bothered to look up from her phone

It’s a fair room reasonable size and good shower next door to a Tesco good car park

The chef didn't turn up so we couldn't get the breakfast we were looking forward to but poor Laura also had to come in on her day off as the bar staff also didn't turn up. Brilliant manager though.

The manager Laura was very welcoming. Lovely lady. The room was very clean and did what it said on the tin! We slept really well.

Room felt and smelt a bit damp and signs of mildew in en suite shower. Room was very cold on arrival but warmed up by morning with the small heater. Could improve the service by offering the standard tea and coffee and kettle. Basic toiletries like shower gel etc. Maybe heat the room before guests arriving at least when the weather is freezing outside. Arrived on Saturday evening and had to walk through the Saturday night drinkers/smokers to gain entry and then through the bar.

Good value for money. Does what it says on the tin. Fresh beds. Tidy and relatively clean. TV worked.
