The only negative would be the stairs, I'm very mobile but if you had bad mobility issues the stairs might be a problem but they did have ground floor rooms as well. The town was very pretty but there wasn't much there. We were only staying for 1 night anyway so it wasn't a problem. We went to midhope castle( featured in the series outlander) which was nice and was only 20 minutes drive from lime kilns. We did go to the bruce arms pub which was just along the road, that was nice, staff were lovely, we only had chips which were really nice but there food looked amazing.

A really lovely room, very clean and comfortable in a lovely village location right on the water front. Communication was great and the cafe downstairs serves really delicious food and drinks.

Only thing I would say could make it better would have been some bottles of water in the room. We arrived late and no shop was open

Lovely little place to stay! Spotlessly clean and so peaceful with stunning views, we stayed in room 5 and wouldn't question coming back again! Staff were lovely in cafe downstairs!

Room position, at back of property, slightly dark, overlooking back yard, kitchen extract ductwork. Am sure the view out of the front bedrooms was much better.

Very clean, nice size room, well appointed and decorated. Excellent cafe / breakfast. Great value. Good local pubs, I’d recommend the Ship, although both are good.

On day of check out mentioned to girl working(at8:15am) that we would be having 4 fsmijy joining us for breakfast and could we get table for 6.. she said wouldn’t be a problem if we came at 8:50 which we all did and there wa son table that we could all sit together, pretty annoying considering we asked

Two very minor things: could the 15 minutes that the bathroom fan stays on for be reduced? And it would be lovely to have nice, big mugs, in addition to the cups and saucers - especially when the weather is awful and you come in cold from outside.

I have no hesitation in recommending the Coorie. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, the place was spotlessly clean, the cafe served good food, there were fantastic views across the Forth and staff were friendly. Additionally, they alerted me to an item I left behind and have posted it on: great service!
