Not having access to WIFI during transit we couldn't access our email to get the room codes. Fortunately a couple had just arrived and kindly gave us the WIFI allowing me to logon to my laptop in the street to get the codes. It would be beneficial if the Key Codes were sent the night before to avoid this issue. Parking unfortunately seems to be an issue everywhere in the UK, but we managed to park in a park around 600metres away that allowed all day parking and overnight at cost.

Location was perfect. The room was comfortable.

Location was central and easy to find. Parking not an issue for the two days we were there. Managed to park on the same road both times so car never more than a minute away. Great Comms from the owners too making key collection very easy.

Water flow in the shower is bit slow. There is no car parking, but we could manage to get off-road parking. So not an issue

The Wifi completely stopped working one day, the fridge frequently turned off and then back on randomly.

The location was absolutely perfect, a 3 minute walk from the train station and grocery store, lots of food options nearby. The room itself was very clean and comfortable and perfect for our needs. The fridge was very nice to have, but was very touchy and would frequently shut off. Overall, it was a great experience.

The room was ok but everything was very tired, there was a hole in the lampshade, a woodlouse on the blind, bathroom door didn't close properly, drawer front broken. The radiator needed bleeding so the room was cold just a bit of a disappointment!

It was in a lovely location but there was no parking nearby.

Ruth is a great host! The room was clean, comfortable and even had a litle fridge which was very handy. The location is excelent.

Bed was quite squeaky and the shower was quite small. There was also a funny smell in the bathroom but wasn't much to worry about.

Bathroom needs a refurb, shower particularly- flow was very weak. Wider/bigger duvet would be a nice touch too, felt a little small for the size of the bed.

Location was great, tea/coffee facilities were good. Fire stick was welcome for the TV. Bed was comfy, lots of storage throughout the bedroom. Nice and quiet, minimal road noise/noise from other guests.

The only thing we could fault with our stay was the shower; understandably the rooms are small. However, the shower was very small and the water pressure was poor.

The property was in a great location, and the host Ruth was very accommodating and friendly. We really enjoyed our stay and the self check in process was easy and efficient. The accommodation was great value for money.

When I booked with booking.com, I was under the impression that breakfast came with our booking but found out that this was incorrect when I arrived. Owner told us that Booking.com gave incorrect info.

The bed was comfortable and there was a tea kettle with a great selection of teas + hot chocolate. Shampoo and soap were provided. Owner upgraded our room to a bigger room once they saw how tall my husband was :)

The spot can be a wee bit noisy due to the bars around and about, and you're reliant on fellow guests not clatting about if they come in/leave late, because it's quite neat in terms of corridor space and the sound travels. Water pressure in shower a bit low, but these are pretty standard issues in the smaller guest houses. Overall it was what I was looking for.

Lingmoor is an ideal spot for someone coming up to hike on a weekend coming via train, or using public transport first thing in the morning as it is situated so near the bus and trains. Ruth the host was lovely, the room was spotlessly clean, and I felt extremely comfortable as a solo traveller. The key box access worked well for me.

the room is too small especially the bathroom which is super tiny which only can allow a slim lady to move, and the price is considered a bit expensive
