Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomCons: Many different bugs in kitchen - it is a farm, but it did mean we had to wash all kitchen appliances before we used them, hosts gave us ant powder to use. Had a couple of power cuts whilst cooking but could deal with this ourselves by flicking fuse box back on - reported to hosts. We moved some furniture (a bed & 2 settees) and it wasn't very clean underneath.. Bathroom extractor fan didn't work and no window to open. Light pulls were dirty. Non of this overly affected our stay however. We had a nice time.
Pros: Friendly hosts, thoughful welcome gifts, location, traditional environmental, good size for 5 people, comfortable, household supplies on hand, great shower, animals in the farm to see.

Family who own the property extremely friendly, greeted us with a big plate of home made cookies. The children absolutely loved looking around the farm, especially seeing the piglets and lambs. The property was very roomy, with everything you would need home from home. Very comfy beds. Beautiful setting, lots of facilities close by including a big Coop. We will be booking again.

United KingdomSpacious, warm and comfortable cottage with a home-from-home feel, and so lovely to have freshly baked cookies and a bottle of Prosecco for our arrival. Worth mentioning that there is a possibly unique pub in the village: it has a restaurant serving a solely vegan menu. There are also lots of other great traditional pubs in the neighbourhood to choose from!

United KingdomThere was a problem with the dishwasher but Han is aware of it and will fix this. I loved having sheeps, dogs, cat, pigs and cows around but this may not be to everyone's liking.
This is a working farm and a little lamb was just born when we arrived, we went to see it straight as we arrived and it was very moving. Han was very friendly and nice, provided us with addresses for several pubs and restaurants as it was my son's birthday and we wanted to celebrate. The pub we went to on her advice was really a great choice. The Easter decoration in the house and cakes, eggs and wine were the cherry on top of the cake

Welcome wine & biscuits! :) Bonus supplies of daily essentials which, although we didn't need, was a really nice touch. Farm supplies available for sale which were great. United KingdomThe reason I said it was good (rather than excellent) is that none of the upstairs doors (including bathroom and loo) would shut, let alone lock.
I was unfortunately unable to stay owing to a Covid infection, but I've reported the views of the guests in my party who were able to stay: Very nice, and lovely lambs or various ages, some quite new, and 20 piglets.

United KingdomNothing, everything was perfect.
I loved absolutely everything! Han, the host, she's adorable and she was always available to attend to any requirement or inquiry. The cottage is fantastic, especially for family vacations and it was lovely when we arrived to have found some gifts like cookies, fresh eggs and a wine bottle. In conclusion, I totally recommend this accommodation to any who wants to visit the Cotswolds and its surrounding areas.

United KingdomWe booked our stay at the property to visit family nearby, unable to get away without three 18 - 22 year olds we found the house to have ample accommodation. Being on a working farm and the hosts were there to help with any requests, day or night ( not that we had any) The house was clean and tidy with everything provided. The bottle of wine and freshly baked cakes and fresh flowers were a lovely welcoming touch.

United Kingdomwe struggled to store food in the kitchen except for in the fridge and freezer as every cupboard contained dishes and utensils. this wouldn’t be an issue for shorter stays, only for those who intend to self cater for a longer stay of a week or more.
