The location is not amazing but still handy. It was great there was a large car park.

Lovely place, comfortable and the host was very friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the on-site restaurant, which was very nice. It was all very welcome after a hard day walking the South West Coast path from Lynmouth. Would return again.

Staff very kind and available, free private parking, amazing breakfast and dinner at their restaurant. The room was very large and the bathroom too, very clean as well. We really enjoyed our stay, a pity that we stayed one night only.

Very hard to fault. The weather could have been better, it rained most of the time and although he walks on water Andrew couldn't control the elements!

Breakfast - Far too much as we are on a diet - the choice was exceptional and abundant, well prepared and presented. Andrew, the owner has gone out of his way to provide multiple extras in the room some of which you would only get in 4 STAR Hotels. Bathroom was fabulous abundant hot water, shower excellent.

There was nothing to dislike.

Fantastic hosts, very warm welcome. The room was a good size with plenty of thoughtful bits and pieces for our use ie handy rechargeable torch, thermos flask to use if going out for a walk or picnic, free WiFi and tablet for use in the room. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate facilities in room along with small fridge and our own coffee machine. As it was Easter we arrived to find Easter eggs for us both along with complementary local fudge. The menu choices of breakfasts was never ending, absolutely amazing and the different breakfasts were so good we had all our evening meals in the restaurant! Andrew is a fully trained chef and certainly has a flair and passion cooking for his guests and Agnes and Andrew are really great hosts. They made us feel so comfortable and welcome. We hope to go back next year.

It was a gorgeous, clean and welcoming B&B. The hosts were more than amazing, they greeted us upon arrival, the room was perfect (with a little Easter treat included too). The breakfast was delicious, and the vegetarian breakfast was the best we have had! We would definitely recommend if visiting Combe Martin.

Location was great, we were visiting people in Ilfracombe and looking at locations around the area. Car parking excellent. Our host, Andy, was so friendly and shared lots of local information which was very helpful. Breakfast was great, loads of choice and very relaxed. We also ate an evening meal one night - delicious local steak. Would definitely recommend.

Andrew, the host, was efficient, helpful, friendly and good humoured. He couldn’t have done more to make our stay a relaxed one. The food was AMAZING! Dinner was excellent and very good sized portions, as was breakfast. The restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. Andrew was attentive but not over bearing. The beds were comfy. Parking was convenient in the on-site car park. It was nice to have touches like complimentary tea, coffee, water, fresh milk (kept in a small fridge) and biscuits. All in all, the Lion House was the perfect stay with great facilities (Wi-Fi, TV with all the channels you could want, Alexa, complimentary tea and coffee with a gusto coffee machine - even fluffy white bath robes!) The decor was great and the B&B had high standards in cleanliness. If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Combe Martin, I would highly recommend it.
