I stayed for 2 nights, I came to visit a friend for her big birthday bash and wanted my own space. This was perfect, 10 mins from Sherborne town. The apartment was clean and very cosy. Had a fantastic sleep comfortable mattress and bedding. Also was Provided with milk, tea and a small coffee machine (pods) which is very simple to use. Views from apartment were stunning. At night the sky is just beautiful all the stars on show ✨ I loved watching the sunrise and the chickens as I sipped on my lovely coffee. The hosts were lovely and John was very kind to drop me back to my car left in town the next morning. Thank you!

VERY minor points, property is upstairs from front door so needed to unload into small hallway and then move things up. Needed to walk dog on (country) road as garden off limits. No instructions for 'Nespresso' machine.

having no control over the heating - controlled from the main house on a pre-set timer. Unfortunately, we stayed on the coldest night of the year (-4c outside)and had no heating until 7.30 am. The sitting room thermometer said 12.5c. Hosts were away and the house sitter was not familiar with heating controls. Instruction for fan oven would have been useful as we have never used one before.

It was a lovely quiet location, peaceful (especially at night) . Good location to travel to various places in Dorset. Good size, great to have a kitchen so I could cook my own food. Key safe with the front door key was great so so risk of taking it with me and loosing it. Nice to be able to park on the drive.. Hosts were friendly but not intrusive.

Little Glebe is in a lovely location that is very quiet. The accommodation has everything you need. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed staying there.

self catering. The location was quiet, peaceful, with lovely open countryside views from all windows. If the weather had been kind we would have enjoyed miles of lovely countryside walks, but sadly it rained. A lot. That said it was well placed for visits to Sherborne (for the castle) and Yeovil, for shopping etc. , and a thirty-five minute drive to Weymouth. Other close coastal locations were easily accessible from there.

Very comfortable and clean accommodation set in a wonderfully peaceful location. The hosts were very friendly and it was a joy to be guests in their idyllic little part of England.

John and Carolyn were excellent hosts. They made us feel at home and the apartment had everything we needed. The bed and bedding was very comfortable and the views from the windows across the surrounding countryside were delightful. John and Carolyn provided good information and suggestions on places to eat locally and also advised on local walks where we could take our dog. All in all a wonderful relaxing place to stay with really nice hosts.

The rural location meant that the internet connection was a bit variable. Great for getting away from it all, but not so good if you need to keep connected.

The apartment is within easy reach of Sherborne and there are interesting places to visit nearby. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and the lovely views across the countryside.

We were sadly in need of a fan due to humidity at the time that we stayed. No fans were available so we had to pop to the local Argos in Yeovil to purchase. A very minor fault considering the small chance of England ever reaching that level of heat!

Quiet and peaceful with all of the right amenities. Thank you for the extremely comfy bed, the iron and of course, the expresso machine.
