We loved everything about about Little House it is beautifully styled and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay plus lots of little extra treats that made our stay feel even more special. The bathroom was gorgeous. Little house was absolutely spotless throughout. We can’t wait to go back

-Banged my head on the Cooker hood corner whilst preparing food as the two corners are about 4”proud of the cupboards, (a design problem you perhaps wouldn’t notice unless you use back rings on the hob). -Although the hosts kindly put on the radiators in the mornings when requested due to extremely wet weather, they were very cool and so the place still felt very cold and damp in the day. This was offset by an ample supply of logs and a great log burner for the evenings.

Location was fantastic, done out to a very high standard, bed supremely comfortable, great facilities, lovely helpful hosts.

Little house was lovely, quirky, comfortable and very clean had everything you needed. Porlock village was also lovely, very welcoming. Highly recommend, will go back.

I would have liked a two person casserole dish (the only one available was huge) or a microwave. I would also have liked the extra costs to be noted in the description (parking and dogs) before booking. They were both reasonable but it felt a bit underhanded.

Location was perfect, property size for a couple was perfect, property had been furnished beautifully, everything you needed was there. Nick & Lorraine were great hosts. We will most definitely be booking again

Hard to find fault as everything was pretty much perfect. If I was going to be really picky I would say it would have been good to have a microwave. Apart from that everything was brilliant - everything was of a good standard and all the little extras were well thought out.

Having to leave was the only negative.

The attention the owners had given, to make our stay comfortable, was exceptional. The owner Chris was extremely helpful and a wonderful host. We stayed for Christmas and they had tastfully decked the house adding a wonderful festive touch. The photographs do not do justice to the property which is immaculate, comfortable and so well located for the village and wonderful walks. We have found a gem and will definitely be making The Little House a place We visit regularly. A real home from home in an idyllic part of the country.

Amazing little cottage, absolutely spotless, brilliant location, hosts were amazing. Lovely little touches like milk in the fridge, delicious biscuits on the side, and a bottle of wine! The hosts were absolutely brilliant. Very accommodating, and really went above and beyond - offering me a lift back to Minehead when the buses were cancelled due to the surprise Bank holiday. I honestly can't thank them enough. Just superb!

The property is newly refurbished and just needs a few extra comforts in the sitting room, some extra occasional lamps, perhaps better arrangement of furniture, but I understand the extra chairs were delivered after our departure.

Loved the location in Porlock, very convenient for the town and coast, easy parking but also quiet.

if you could just make the fence/ wall area a bit more secure to the left of the gate looking from inside it would help the people that bring dogs feel a little more secure that their dog cant hop through the gap and be off down the village quite so easy like a certain terrior did
