When we arrived we were told we could go in a little earlier as we did arrive early which was helpful so we didn't need to wait around. Easy to find and location was perfect for what we wanted peaceful and quiet overlooking a large field. We stayed in pod poppy which was nice and clean little kitchen to cook and nice small bathroom. Pod was well equipt with tea, coffee, sugar, cutlery, plates cleaning up tools. Beds were comfy and clean nice and warm in the pod. Heating was on when we arrived so was nice and warm for us. TV worked good able to get netflix on for the night after the hot tub. Hot tub nice and clean easy accessable relaxing. Enjoyed our stay definitely recommend and will be back :)

One of the Jet options on the hot tub we couldnt get to work, and when raining it came through the roof of the hot tub shelter. Neither were a big deal and didnt spoil the trip

Thank you for a lovely stay! We loved how private the pod is, it’s literally overlooking a field of sheep! So lovely and peaceful - I loved sitting on the decking in the mornings with a tea and a book! It’s also handy to be only 20 mins drive away from York city - got the best of both worlds. We were back and fourth lots and appreciated a chill in the hot tub after a busy day exploring. The hot tub was really clean, easy to use and even had some automatic fairy lights for when it gets dark. Check in and out was straight forward. There was even a welcome pack waiting for us! The pod was clean and had everything we needed for a long weekend (hair dryer, mugs, glasses, plates). We loved our trip to York and stay at Little Meadow Pods and will defo be back!

The shower cubicle is a little on the small side so you do have to be mindful of banging your head (or stubbing toes in my case!) It is a little limiting only having two induction hobs for cooking (with quite small pans) but there is a fantastic chip shop ten minutes away. Would have been great if car park was a little closer but clear plans to introduce more cabins would prevent that to be fair.

Lovely cabin in great condition, comfortable bed and sofa bed. Great setup outside with furniture, decking space and excellent spacious hot tub with cover (which really kept the hot tub hot). Lovelt peaceful views.

If I was being picky the fridge was turned up to high (but I imagine this was to get the temperature down for our arrival??) which froze some of our food but on the plus side it kept our ice frozen for all our cocktails!!

All the staff I dealt with were really helpful and all the information I received was clear and detailed. The pods were superb and equipped with everything we needed with lovely views over the countryside. The hot tub was wonderful, patio area great size with lovely furniture and the BBQ area was an added bonus. I also found a local mobile therapist that came to the pod to give us treatments which were amazing.

The location was lovely, remote and peaceful. The owners were fantastic at responding to any questions I had about the facilities and enabled us to make full use of the cabin. When an issue came about with the hot tub, they were quick to amend it the very same afternoon which was more than appreciated. Cooking facilities were great, more than enough to cook a variety of meals.

Self check-in was super easy, instructions that were sent were easy to follow. The pod itself was immaculate, the complimentary items in the bathroom were lovely and we also enjoyed the tea, coffee and biscuits. The interior was beautifully decorated as well as birthday decorations that were set up for us when upgraded and it was very cosy and had a home from home feel. The terrace area and view was beautiful and the hot tub was amazing. My partner and myself can literally find no fault in our stay here.

An amazing stay, exactly like photo, very well done up, very clean, a welcome package including snacks, milk, coffee, tea, sugar which helped due to arriving early evening! Wash up pack under the sink also very helpful, over all just amazing! Do not second guess booking here, book asap! Highly recommend and I’d love to visit again soon 😄

I think some people would have concerns with the distance into York centre - but, as I mentioned in the previous section, there are plenty of city centre hotels/lodges for those for whom that is a priority - personally, the quiet, chilled out experience, enjoying a hot tub while watching the sun going down was worth much more than being very close to the centre of the city.

Had a great stay at Little Meadow Pods - a really nice glamming experience. Clean and comfortable accommodation, with fridge, 2 hob cooker, toaster and kettle, with plates, pans, cups and cutlery for your stay. Comfy beds and a really nice shower room and toilet, and the Hot Tub with ‘atmospheric’ lighting was fantastic! There is a car park just at the end of the ‘meadow’ where the pods are located, so very close to the accommodation. There is a gastro-pub within 20 mins walk in one direction (although we didn’t visit this) and there is a really nice Thai restaurant 20 mins walk in the other direction, which does takeaway and delivery - and the food was delicious! The location is around 30 mins travel from York centre, so pricey if you want to go by taxi (we paid £30) - but there are bus stops around 20 mins walk away - and the Park and Ride option is a good alternative to driving into the city - but you could stay at a (boring) hotel in town if being close to town is your priority - personally, having a quiet location with a fab hot tub to enjoy through the evening was far more attractive than being close to the city centre. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at Little Meadow Pods - would highly recommend (taking into account the factors above) - and would definitely book there again.
