The name of the property on the roadside was so discreet that it was unreadable as you were driving along and the number on the gate could only be seen if you stopped the car and turned to face it. So I consequently drove past it twice. Google maps doesn’t take you to the exact location

The property was beautifully stylish and comfortable. There was a quick response to the queries that I had. Delicious Nespresso coffee pods provided . Lovely toiletries. Private outdoor area. There is certainly road noise from the A338, but Hurn Road is very attractive with lots of high shrubs on either side, so I didn’t feel we were too close to the busy main road.

The only thing I would change is more toilet paper as we ran out very quickly but other than that an amazing experience.

The lodge was really nicely furnished, me and my partner got the vibe as if we where abroad. Really clean and tidy with a luxury feel, the bed was super comfy, the kitchen was well equipped with utensils for our stay and the outside bath is such a lovely touch. I would 100% recommend this to anyone who is visiting the area and wants somewhere luxurious to stay without breaking the bank and I myself would definitely stay again!!!

Not much storage for clothes

We loved the outside space. The out door bath was a great touch. The bed was very comfortable. The place had everything you need for a short weekend away.

The garden could have been nicer as in maybe more things in there like a bbq and some lights. The chairs were nice though.

The bathroom is minute, the toilet so close to the shower, you can’t swing a cat. The apartment is really tiny, I couldn’t imagine staying more than just one night. My biggest complaint was that there was one single toilet roll!!! And it wasn’t even a whole one, very cheap and flimsy. I have never stayed anywhere where there aren’t at least a few stored away. This really put a damper on our stay as we didn’t even have tissues on us!!! Please invest in high quality toilet paper and leave at least three rolls. A small suggestion: maybe providing smaller cups that fit on the coffee machine would be a good idea.

Lovely little place! The highlight being the freestanding bathtub and swing in the garden. It felt like a slice of luxury. Very sleek and modern, fabulous Nespresso machine, all very compact. Excellent impression as you drive into the place. Cosy lighting all over.

We felt there could have been a bit more attention to detail. There was a chunk missing from the mat upon entering, the knob switch in the kitchen is also missing. The manual requests you to strip the bed if possible which we did and found 2 stains on the mattress topper. It also requires you to empty the bin and take it out (if not additional charges will be taken) however when we arrived there was rubbish in our bin and the rubbish from the new bedding was left in the window. The toilet seat was extremely loose and slide to the side when sat on. The plug underneath the TV in side has lots of smoke / burnt stains on it, be careful when plugging things in as this makes a crackling sound. We would have loved a tea in the morning but the tea bags are left open above the bin (small tin could be added to put these in for hygiene reasons). After washing up we tried to dry up with the tea towel provided but it smelt like wet dogs not sure if it was a new one and had small dog like hairs on it.

The location of the lodge nice and private. The out door bath was lovely. Indoor shower was great nice and hot with good water pressure.

Broken toilet seat

Lovely and warm and clean but toilet seat was broke n when we arrived and really difficult to use. We were told check out was 3pm Sunday so we’re still in bed when a lady called me very flustered to say no check out is 11am! It wasn’t her fault but we then had to rush and pack all of our stuff up and get out as quickly as possible. So we had a lovely time but a few factors let it down
